My Opinion: I’ve fairly confident that this is bittersweet. Like – it’s in my notes as being so, tread lightly. But for me bittersweet can mean Erik and Charles just not staying together sooo I’m biased. Well written though! And artwork!

This is very dark. Extremely dark. This is a story of a sadist (Erik) and his chosen project (Charles); with an ambigous ending. Warnings are placed at the begining of every chapter.

My Opinion: I couldn’t finish it. It’s dark and mentally tormenting and whilst it isn’t Shaw you almost wish it was so someone would be there to rescue Charles.

Summary: Magneto killed Shaw, it had to be done for the sake of mutant-kind but what he wasn’t expecting to find hidden deep with Shaw’s complex was a man held captive, obviously tortured, that somehow made Magneto turn into Erik.
Erik now has a potential human in his citadel as he continues the war with the human’s.

My Opinion: IT’s a good story but personally I didn’t like it because there aren’t many Charles and Erik scenes (which makes sense) but I need more for a good cherik story. Still I’m reccing it for those who don’t need that.

My Opinion: I haven’t read it. The tags scare me and I’ve not read B&D and feel I should do that first but as it is Shaw having taken Charles hostage, I feel you should be rec’d this. It’s helen78 so I trust the writing.

My Opinion: Watch what you are getting into because graphic and choose your own ending and even the ‘nicest one’ is bittersweet! But it’s Shaw holding Charles hostage and compellingly well-written even if it made me doubt myself substantially.
Summary: Charles felt his stomach drop; he backed into the mirror behind him, feeling the cool glass against the nape of his neck. “You’re going to keep me here?”
“For nine months,” Shaw nodded, “I believe its best, don’t worry my dear you and your child will be taken care of completely.”

Summary: As often as Erik has kidnapped Charles over the past few years, and as many glorious opportunities as have presented themselves, it is both surprising and appalling that they still haven’t fucked yet.
Or: five times Charles and Erik didn’t have sex, plus one time they did.
