But what is Remix exactly? Remix is a challenge where you rewrite someone else's X-Men story or redraw someone else's X-Men art the way you would have written/made it if it were your story/art.
What is X-Men Remix Main? X-Men Remix is when you sign up, you will be matched with another participant in the exchange and be asked to remix their work. Someone else in the exchange (not the person you write/draw for) will be remixing one of yours. Remix is a GIFT EXCHANGE i.e. you will get one of your works remixed.
What is X-Men Remix Madness? X-Men Remix Madness is when you sign up to give anyone permission to Remix any of your works (you may list safe stories which can not be remixed). You do not have to sign up if you only want to remix others but don't want anyone to remix your works. Remix Madness is a PROMPT CHALLENGE i.e. you are not guaranteed to have any of your works remixed. A Note re: post-dating your fic/art: As a general reminder, it is perfectly acceptable and even encouraged for you to post-date your fic/art in both the madness collection and the main collection. Post-dating means that you edit your work to give it today’s date instead of the earlier date it was posted. This allows more people to see your work during the anon period, versus few people outside of the exchange seeing it if it’s buried further back in the tag. All we ask is that you limit post-dating to once during the anon period and once afterward after reveals, so that you are not constantly leapfrogging over the other participants…so if you have not already post-dated, that is an option that is available to you. :)

Hello! So excited for remix. A question - is it okay to remix a non-omegaverse/mpreg story to be omegaverse/mpreg if the author has also written/published omegaverse/mpreg fics? Or better to stick with the world of the actual fic? Thanks a lot, appreciate you continuing to organise this fun event ❤️
Apologies for the late reply - i have been on vacation and out of the country and just catching up. I'm not sure if this is related to Remix Main (which would be too late sorry) or Madness but the answer is the same for anyone interested in the answer - you can absolutely remix a fic as a/o. You do not need to check whether the OP has also written a/o to do so! Remember that you are not writing a fic to suit the OP's personal tastes; you are writing that story the way you want to write it! Hope this helps!
For remix madness, is there a way to keep your fics permanently anonymous/is it allowed to submit an anonymous work as a fill? In the case of dead dove fills that one wouldn't necessarily want attached to them but would still love to post
I am happy to keep it anon within the collection permanently, though unfortunately, you will have to reveal at least to me directly as the mod (gerec) who you are so i can set it up on the back end. Feel free to DM me directly and let me know the name of the fic once its posted (and before author reveals on the 15th!) and I will be happy to oblige!
