Arduino project: Assistive hand wearable for the visually impaired
Ultrasonic distance sensor that triggers a vibration module as haptic feedback. The device works as an alternative for the walking stick, allowing the user to use their hands freely whilst using the sensor to detect obstacles and the vibration module to alert them.
bIconic final prototype
With a new wrist band model that incorporates actual silicone straps, the design has a much smoother profile and flows better with the finger braces. The ui is much more efficient and integrates better into the small size of the screen.
1st Prototype of bIconic
This illustrates the general concept behind our hand prosthetic. The finger braces are tailored to each corresponding finger and communicates with the wrist interface. Wrist band requires further improvement and streamlining both in model and ui.

From top to bottom: Assembly is simple, the bottom of the lamp is design to fit into the stalk of the light bulb
The circles on the inner layer align with the ends of the circular cuts, allowing the user to rotate the inner layer easily.
Premise: Design a lamp that consists of two cylinders that interlock, but the inner one can rotate freely. Using vertical slits, the inner cylinder can be rotated to block the gaps on the outer, dimming the light.
Initial design: The first design, which can be seen in earlier posts, was very bulky and the openings did not align correctly. This design improves upon the flaws, with a slim design and 4 slits that only require 45 degrees of rotation. The result is a much simpler, cleaner design
Notable features: Friction fit assembly and free rotation by turning slots at the top
