Perhaps we have both simply forgotten
to tune our clocks
to a time in which we are both less frail;
One such time in which blatant lies are not bridges for your smiles
and when the tugging pain in my chest is not love, but more like honey glaze falling on an open wound.
Rediscovery can be incredibly stagnant (physically). Often times there are less bells of epiphany and more head bangs against the wall (right after).Â
In any case: I should write more, think less, and feel neutral (i.e. not so much as though I am forever falling from a cliff into the gazing unknown of the darkest waters Iâve ever seen). Â
