"It couldn’t hurt to look, and we can have a chat while I’m here. I haven’t seen you in a while, gorgeous."
Marcello flushed and dropped his gaze. "I've just been so busy with work. It'll be nice to catch up."

"It couldn’t hurt to look, and we can have a chat while I’m here. I haven’t seen you in a while, gorgeous."
Marcello flushed and dropped his gaze. "I've just been so busy with work. It'll be nice to catch up."
"Well I haven’t been looking for you. And just because you use my real name doesn’t mean I’m going to be more receptive to this little reunion.”
"Arke hasn't this lasted long enough? You're my sister... We can get past this."
I don’t know, but I definitely don’t wanna be a lawyer.
Well what do you love? I think it's important to love what you do.
"Cool," Marcel nodded, flashing Marcello a friendly smile. "Well, it’s alright if you wanna meet there. I mean, with that job of yours, it’d be impossible for you not finding the place, right?" he joked.
"You're right," Marcello chuckled, shrugging his shoulders. "There's just a chance I could be late -" He thought for a moment. Iris, the goddess messenger of the gods and he was worried about being late? "On second thought no I won't." Marcello was never late. It was just a fact of who he was. "What time do you finish up here?"
I can respect that.
What would you call yourself?
It doesn’t have to.
Well what do you want to do?
That’s sweet of you, but it’s not that big of a deal. It’s just an education.
But an education shapes what you do for the rest of your life.
No, it’s law or nothing. It sucks.
It sounds horrible. I wish there was someway I could help. I hate to see people suffering like this.
"Gods, weren’t you right about running into the people you didn’t want to see."
"I've been looking for you, Arke."
It was hard to miss the smile plastered on Marcello’s face, and Marcel couldn’t help but flash him a smile as well. He knew then that he wasn’t making the wrong decision. “Cool,” he nodded, “I’m free tonight, after I close down the shop that is. Would that work for you?”
"Tonight, yea." Marcello answered quickly, not even bothering to reflect on what he may have had going on. He nodded his head to urther emphasize his point before shoving his hands in his pockets and rocking on his heels. "Do you want me to meet you here or...?"
"Yet yours is Italian….Iris?"
"All in a desire to blend in, sister..."
Modern Mythology: Iris
“The sky leans on me, me, the one upright among all horizontals.”
A modern Iris with sunlight in her veins and if one looks at her too quickly, they will be blinded by her light. Some say her eyes are of the colors that are only seen dreams and the strands of her hair are each different shades of her rainbows. She is felt wherever wonder is needed in this world, her colors lighting the sky, reminding during terror that there is still magic in this universe and there is always light, her rainbows a reminder that the gods are still listening. When she isn’t working for the Olympians, her footprints are known in each corner of this world, from mountaintops only known by the reckless and brave and the tattoo parlors where her gentle touch, as soft as air, helps to turn others into masterpieces of art. The artist and writer and all who need to lose themselves in the beauty of the sky know the pause in her breath when she tells of all the places her rainbows have connected the heavens with the sea.
"What’s your sister’s name?"
"Arke - Greek name..."
"Yeah in this family feud thing."
"It's amazing how similar two people's lives can be..."
No, because then I wouldn’t have money to pay for my apartment or my education.
What about doing a dual major or something? It just seems so unfair that you can't have a choice in your life.
Marcel pursed his lips slightly. Normally, he wouldn’t be the one to approach someone first. He guessed it was because somehow he felt like Marcello’s presence felt familiar somehow. Or maybe it was simply because they happened to have the same name. Well, either way, he wasn’t backing out on his decision. “Cool then,” he smiled and nodded. “I know a bar around the corner, it’s pretty nice and isn’t really that crowded. Plus, they serve the best chicken wings.”
A small thing inside of Marcel began to light up at the possibility of having a friend, a real friend, not just someone who wanted him for who he was. "I'd like that," Marcello nodded, shifting the now empty messenger bag on his shoulder until it rested against his hip. "Especially since not crowded is in the description." He laughed a little awkwardly, glancing around them all while still wearing that pleased smile.
"Well sisters fight, it’s what they do. But I too got into a particularly nasty spat with my sister. Sides were chosen and we were on opposite sides."
"Opposite sides...?"
