Because I'm a prince. I shouldn't play with them. *He crosses his arms and looks away. The words are lies. It's not actually why he won't hang out with them.*

"well, it must be lonely then, your job. you keep having to leave things behind... you could get the cat mini wing boots or something? I heard cats always land on their feet, if it fell it'd be fine."

"I don't think I have the patience to teach a cat to fly, it was already hard enough to get Ody in the air- Do you not want her?" He looked worried at the last part

"no i do i just- i don't want you to always be alone. you leave people behind and i cant tell if it makes you sad or not."
