         “ oh wow, is that really praise coming from the great number five? ” hawks vivacious laugh is light as his feathers. his response might’ve been drowned in the rollicking sea of fans, but he wouldn’t worry about that. when it comes down to mirko, he’s one-hundred percent positive her awesome hearing can pick up on what he was saying. 

the conclusion of their hero photo-op event was threatening their personal breathing space. everybody wanted the privilege to gloat about being able to stand next to some of the giants in the hero’s society. it came with the territory, and hawks did what he could to accommodate every fan that managed to fight their way to his line of sight. this last as long as he manage.

no one would be able to tell, but he can feel the effects of the atmosphere catching up to him by way of the tightening of his chest and his red feathers mild ruffling. it’s a bodily sense that let him know that it was time to get this show on the road. the avian hero flexes his wings to bring him above the heads of his darling devotees. the young ones pulled at his sleeves and pants leg, but this bird just wouldn’t be held down. 

         “ welp, i hafta’ raise up on outta here, ‘wil bit. you plan hangin’ around here any longer? or this ciao for now? ”

      day one, and she’s already laying it on him thick. it’s to be expected, from what he understood.

         the bite behind that statement perhaps would unnerve someone amateur. the young girl’s face was omnivorous, her eyes giving off that far off voracious look like she already devoured you before she even began. the privilege to peep into the safety commission’s files gave hawks a decent layout on the type of person she is. he’s going to have to tread lightly with her, lest her blade starts trying to carve him up like he’s a fat hunk of poultry. 

        so, his lips traces up a recurve-billed bushbird grin, his hands held up in ersatz surrender. “ that’s cool, just don’t hurt me because of that now, okay? ” the touch put to his tone is cockatiel in nature, gentle and playful. the grumbling in his stomach lit a bulb for a light idea. it’s a shot that can miss, but it’s while he’s still standing in in the yellow, he’ll take the shot and hope for a green light. “ say, ya wanna head over to this awesome joint called yoritama? their yakitori is, ” his gloved index and thumb presses together with his lips to give a sweet chef kiss. “ oishii! ”
