I decided to build an antenna and get the Tuner function on my vintage stereo working. As to be expected, nothing works but FM. On the plus side, after manually scrubbing through the airwaves, I found a station that plays jazz. So, I’ve been laying on my floor, and enjoying the requests from listeners.

I JUST QUIT MY JOB!

Sometimes you just got to do what is right, you know?

The place where I was working was not for me. I enjoyed the practical part of the job, but the cons outweighed the pros. 

My mood was falling very fast, I was becoming depressed. Feeling those long black finger creeping from the shadows and clutching me, preparing to drag me back in. 

Not. Today. 

A good opportunity came up and I took the chance to get out while I still could. 

This new opportunity will allow me to return to normalcy. I will have a better schedule which will fix a lot of issues in my life. No more 2 hours of travel for work. No more having a manager who can’t manage their own life let alone a store. No more coming home and sleeping before having to wake up and go back to work. 

I’m looking forward to getting my life back on the rails. I look forward to having a decent time to work on my YouTube channel. And I especially look forward to returning to streaming again and catching up with so many friends!  I am excited.

A little update.

I’ve decided to give up regular streaming to focus more on the YouTube channel I have started working on with my good friend, Luke. 

I will still be streaming but they will be more random instead of scheduled on a regular basis like before. However, you can head over to the BattleDoods YouTube Channel and watch myself and my awesome co-host play some random games. Right now we have three series including Digimon World 3, Sonic Mania, and Toejam and Earl Back in the Groove. We have got a lot more new series on the way which will be a ton of fun, including Mortal Kombat which I absolutely suck at. 

Aside from the gaming stuff, I have also had a huge change in my life. 

I finished my contract at Apple with the prospects to return in a higher job role but some complications arose which basically left me jobless. I waited a couple of months in hopes that I would get called back but things didn’t work out. So, now I have a new job which is something I didn’t expect to be doing at all. I work for a fine wristwatch repair center, repairing watches of all things. Very random, but I need to pay those bills so, oh well.

Anyway, seeing as this place is just a place for me to ramble about my life, here’s the latest chapter, I guess.

So after a quick count through my games collection...

I have just around 300 physical games. On my shelves alone there is 283, with a couple more in storage which is mostly stuff that I'm not fussed about having on show just about tops 300. Then I have 417 on Steam.

Plus then I have other digital games on PS3, PS4, PSP, PSV, Wii U, and 3DS. Then other online services like uPlay and Origin. I'd probably say about 900 games in total, but only 300 or so that are physical copies.

It's going to be a sad day when gaming moves to completely digital.

I also have some pretty cool new (old) consoles to show off!
