Found a little mouse alone in path I thought he was hurt or fucked up somehow I think he was just too little to be on his own 😭😭😭 so moved him out of plain sight at least, not far, hope his mom is alive and finds him. This shit always upsets me so much I'm not even joking anything with animals especially cute small animals.

It's funny how bands/singers sometimes will just disappear into the night for example Saint Vincent anyone my age will remember how popular she was I never listened to her music but she was popular. I mean, among indie people. Then just now I think about Saint Vincent oh yeah wtf I haven't thought about her in forever haven't heard someone talk about her in years, maybe she has devoted fanbase and is still releasing albums maybe gave up music altogether I have no fucking idea. She just disappeared one day.

In Oberstdorf, an old village in Southern Bavaria, a unique ancient pagan tradition is still alive – the dance of the wild men (Wilde-Mändle-Tanz), which is held only in this small town, once in five years.

Wilde-Mändle-Tanz is dedicated to the Germanic god Thor, and involves 13 men, all of whom belong to old local families who have been living in that region for centuries. The men’s costumes are made of moss, which grows only in the Allgäu Alps.

They dance to rhythmic drum music, building a pyramid, and at the end they drink mead from their wooden mugs, singing a ritual song.

I do not understand outdoors clothing why is it so ugly? I will never understand. Especially with the prices they have. Why? And who is buying it? I feel like there's no way a pair of pants for example can be $300 functional you know what I mean? There's no way. I think there is a way that a pair of pants can be $300 beautiful or fashionable, and I can picture a circumstance where spending this money is justified. But on something ugly it's unforgivable.

Hiking boots, nice backpack, okay this is permissible. Anything else I just don't understand. Unless you're hiking the Appalachian trail or you work as a tour guide in the forest or a mountaineer or something.

I think it's something people do, they want to have whatever hobby because it's something that would be done by the kind of person they wish they were like. Or it gives them something to talk about. Or whatever, but it's not something they have a natural interest in. So they take out a fucking bank loan to buy all of this equipment in an attempt to sort of encourage themselves, like I just spent thousands of dollars on this shit I kind of have to go camping now. And also to larp in the literal sense. Dress up and go play outside.
