low   to   medium   activity   due   to   work   schedule.   i   can’t   promise   the   queue   will   be   loaded   up   and   ready   to    post   other   times,   but   i’ll   certainly   try   my   best.   i   do   not   hold   any   mutuals   to   a   specified   time   limit   on   replies.   i   appreciate   your   patience   when   it   comes   to   my   responses   as   well.

as   mentioned   above,   there   will   be   some   dark   themes.   however,   i   will   not   write   things   like   inappropriate   interactions   with   minors,   abuse/non-con,   discrimination,   incest,   etc.   i   won't   tag   things   unless   requested   by   mutuals.   otherwise,   a    cw   tag   will   be   used.

shipping;

i   am   open   to   all   types   of   ships.   if   you   have   an   idea,   ask   me   about   it.   my   response   will   vary   from   immediate   to   possibly   brainstorming   scenarios.   if   i   hard   pass   on   a   ship,   respect   that.   again,   no   inappropriate   dynamics   such   as   an   adult   with   minors   or   toxic   relationships.   any   extremely   negative   relationships   will   only   be   referred   to   in   headcanon.   enemies   in   a   non-abusive   sense   or   rivals   are   fine.   as   for   romantic   shipping,   you   know   what   i'm   going   to   say:   chemistry.

headcanon influence;

this   is   a   big   one.   i   will   be   exploring   the   true   life   culture   of   the   1980s   heavy   metal   scene   and   its   influence   on   society.   actual   trials   took   place   with   bands   as   well   as   civilians   because   the   justice   system   conceived   metal   music   and   its   imagery   had   a   damaging   effect   on   society.   the   influence   it   held   over   the   youth   and   its   link   to   crimes   made   anyone   associated   with   the   subculture   suspect   number   one.   using   these   real   life   cases   mixed   with   the   canon   of   eddie's   role   in   the   show,   i'd   like   to   build   a   character   profile   that   will   be   biased   to   my   interpretation.   music   will   also   play   heavily   in   my   portrayal   of   eddie   who   canonically   is   a   fan   of   dio,   w.a.s.p.   and   other   such   groups.   expect   breakdowns   and   reflections   on   those   bands   and   their   cultural   influence.   for   spice,   i'd   love   to   incorporate   their   inspiration   into   interactions   and   verses   too.

etiquette;

no   godmodding,   forcing   ships   or   harassing   for   responses.   you   may   remind   me   of   a   plot   or   thread   we   have   going,   but   please   do   not   attempt   to   guilt   me   into   hurrying.   i   am   a   real   person,   in   the   real   world,   with   other   things   going   on.   as   much   as   i   would   love   to   sit   and   write   all   day   or   gush   over   our   muses   together   until   our   brains   are   slime,   i   won't   be   online   all   the   time.   if   i   am   online   but   haven't   responded,   be   patient.   i   follow   the   muse,   and   i   expect   my   partners   to   take   their   time   too.   vague   posts,   negativity   and   all   that   yucky   stuff   can   find   the   door.   i'm   not   here   for   any   ooc   drama.   while   i   don't   condone   callout   posts   and   related   content,   i   need   to   know   if   i'm   unintentionally   writing   with   someone   abusive.   do   not   steal.   my   main   psd   go-to   is   jaynedits.   color   psd   is   detention   by   sbcoloring.

i   am   willing   to   interact   with   other   eddies   because   at   one   point   in   time,   i   really   did   enjoy   all   the   silly   aus   we   could   get   up   to   such   as   twins,   or   how-did-we-end-up-in-each-others-universes.   however,   i   have   had   a   few   bad   experiences   that   have   made   me   cautious   with   dups.   i   will   not   follow   first,   but   if   other   eddies   follow   then   i   will   consider   interacting.   basically   if   we   can   stick   to   basic   rp   etiquette,   namely   godmodding,   then   i'm   good.   you   have   your   version   and   i   have   mine.   we're   individually   unique,   and   we   should   explore   that.   i   don't   want   to   know   what   i'm   doing   wrong   or   feel   uncomfortable   in   the   choices   i   make.   we   might   go   down   the   same   avenue   as   far   as   mannerisms   and   history,   but   ultimately,   we'll   make   it   our   own.   i'd   rather   not   knit-pick   who   did   it   best   or   how   similar   a   canon   version   is   to   another.   anyways...   that   got   a   little   ranty,   but   basically,   i   love   the   idea   of   dups.   let's   have   fun   with   it!

          black tourmaline    you have a strength to you that has been hard earned. you don't hesitate to cut out the parts of you you despise, you're unafraid to call out others. your bluntness can off-put people at times, but you're unwilling to compromise your personal code. once your loyalty has been earned it is not easily shaken. you're a protector and you purge away anything you believe could harm you or those you love. when was the last time you relaxed, though? when was the last time you let down your guard? there is just as much strength in vulnerability.

         because you cannot hold freedom    the sky is only air. the ocean is only water. the only freedom you will ever have is breathing, drawing this air again & again & again & again. you have to exhale, and it costs you something - you have to quench your thirst and it comes back again - there is nothing solid in being free, it is not a status to be achieved but an action to do. free is an active status, and you worry you'll somehow forget. there are people who would control you. there are orders you could obey. you keep coming back to take this next breath, your own part of the forever - freedom of the sky, but sometimes you think to hold your breath. it is deceptively peaceful underwater. you don't know if you would notice it if you started drowning.

         @witcheri​​ said    a kiss on that space where jaw connects.

         he offered to drive them to the public library third period in order to read for the visiting elementary school kids. ed volunteered on the promise of an extra c minus grade of his final percentage, and of course, the sheer fact he’d get to spend a few class periods with chrissy cunningham. discretely, he pinched himself on the other side of the steering wheel of his van to wake himself up from the possible dream. he almost deafened his passenger with the rager from 𝖆𝖑𝖎𝖈𝖊 𝖈𝖔𝖔𝖕𝖊𝖗. eddie quickly reached over to the volume and killed the knob. sending a nervous smile her way, he waved his hand as an invitation for her to switch the radio to something she liked. 

         the dreaded day of couples (valentine’s day) was upon them, and on theme, the library was decorated in pink, white, and red hearts everywhere. the story they’d picked out to read was a fairytale: the princess and the frog. the irony wasn’t lost on the metalhead, but he dove into the part with as much gusto as he did his gigs at the hideout. leaping around the circle of children, eddie charmed his way into their tiny hearts and pleaded with the golden princess to give him a chance to win her over! the day ended in applause, more than he’d ever recieved at one of corroded coffin’s shows, and eddie considered it a great success. wooing chrissy under the guise of a cursed frog turned out to be more fun than he’d ever hoped for. 

         on their way out, he headed towards the van to open the door for her and take them back to school for the rest of the day. his heart picked up the pace as he realized this would probably be the only moment alone with her he’d have for a while. “uh, hey, chrissy. you were great in there. you really know how to handle those little troublemakers.” heh, get to the point, ed. “anyway, i got something for you. it’s not a valentine exactly, but i don’t know. i found it the other day, and it made me think of you...” fishing the chain out of his pocket, eddie pulled out a tiny silver guitar pick similar to the red one he wore around his own neck. in shop class, he burned a pair of angel wings into the surface. he dangled the necklace between them wondering if he should be so bold as to put it on her himself. without further doubt clouding his judgement, he slipped it over her head carefully then pulled her hair away from the offending chain in case it pulled her blonde strands. “perfect,” he commented dreamily. overtaken with the lightness of the moment, eddie dropped a steady kiss to the side of her face just below her ear while he swayed unsteadily on jelly-like legs. his face burned with a rising blush, but it was swiftly overtaken with an overjoyed grin. “i hope you like it.”

         “i like to think of them as little opportunities, you know?” eddie tried to put a positive spin to their attendance in detention. admittedly, there wasn’t much positivity to being made to stay after school hours to stair at shelves of books in the library, but hey, he had to give it a shot. leaning closer, eddie put a mad smile on his face and whispered so their warden didn’t overhear. “think of it this way, at least i don’t have to sneak up to your room for you to tutor me. we can catch up on loads of math right here!”
