He’d been researching the recently approaching holidays when he’d heard someone knock on the door which lead to his and his roommates’ rooms in the apartment. Considering the door still seemed to be broken from an earlier encounter, Kiriga would pause, placing a bookmark within the book he’d been reading, standing up to then go to the door to let the other in.
To his surprise, it was Rouga, looking more than a little drenched, with some snow still clinging to his attire. Was it snowing? Kiriga would glance out to the window to confirm Rouga’s disgruntled appearance, only to find nothing but white.
“...You shouldn’t have traveled in this weather.” Still, he couldn’t tell the other to leave--he actually did have a heart, who knew. Disregarding any snapping comebacks, Kiriga would toss a towel to Rouga so that he could dry himself off.
“Sit wherever you’d like. I’ll get you something warm.”
Being hospitable wasn’t his forte, but seeing as he was the only one in the apartment at the moment, besides the new guest. The others had put Christmas decorations all over, and Kiriga didn’t know what any of it was supposed to mean. Which was the reason he’d borrowed the book, incidentally.

After a while, after Kiriga had gotten some coffee made for Rouga, it was a peaceful silence. Kiriga forgot to mention sugar or cream to the other, but hopefully they didn’t mind too much. Kiriga didn’t add anything to his coffee either, so that was that.
He’d look out to the window once more, seeing only a pure white, as if the glass had been painted that color. With a small frown he’d stand, and against the other’s warnings he’d open the window to see if there actually was abnormal weather out and about.
However, with the wind, he couldn’t close it, getting a face full of snow in the process, reminding him of why he’d rather not visit cold planets when he had the choice to go or not. If he hadn’t been suffering from the poison, he’d easily have the strength to close the window, but instead his pride was somewhat hurt when Rouga had to help him close it.
He’d turn to lean against the wall, listening to his guest’s complaints and annoyances without a word to defend himself. Perhaps he should have more faith in Rouga, instead of trying to see things with his own eyes. As he was about to say this, however, he was interrupted by Rouga saying something about a plant overhead, above the window.
Now, Kiriga had been reading up on the holiday, but he didn’t know what mistletoe was, or how it worked. He’d simply written it off as another holiday decoration, but on hearing what Rouga had to say about it, Kiriga looked momentarily confused.
What did that tradition have anything to do with the holiday itself?
“So it’s used for...that? One little plant?”
Sometimes he disliked his roommates.
After a pause and another silence, Kiriga would gently cup the other’s chin, his touch as light as a feather. He was never one to back down from a challenge, so he’d lean in and carefully kiss the other. His lips were soft against the other’s, and...well, the other both smelled and tasted of coffee, it seems. It wasn’t something he minded, but...
He didn’t remain too long, however, and drew away as quickly as he’d closed in. Honestly, he didn’t see anything special about it, the plant really didn’t count for much other than an annoyance, huh.
Still, his voice was quiet as he spoke once again.
“I don’t know about these holidays, or believe in them. However, I apologize for not having faith in what you’d said. Consider...that an apology.”
Having lost his memories, Kiriga wanders Orre in search of himself. With only the vague knowledge that he has to fulfill a greater purpose, he gets lost in the desert west of Phenac City. The protagonists find him there, exhausted and delirious, but so determined that he mistakes them for enemies and battles them in his confusion.
With only his Skarmory and Swellow, the battle ends fairly soon. Kiriga collapses, but not before telling Leo and Rui that he needs to find “an ancient star of stone that shines brighter than any in the night sky” – puzzled, the two of them take him to safety at the hotel in Phenac, and when he wakes up, he tells them he’s lost his memories, and can remember very little of what he must do.

Both a wanted terrorist and urban legend space, Leo’s quite the enigma. Blowing up one of the Guild’s ships so he could get what he wanted, a better part for his own ship, he’s pretty much one of the highest marks the Guild is going after. Which is going to be difficult, since Leo commands one of the fastest ships in space, after acquiring the part he’d stolen.
Needless to say, Leo is skilled in more than just the ability to bomb something. He’s a very skilled fighter when it comes to Battle Spirits.
He actually is one of the few to command a deck with two colors in it, yellow and purple. Honestly, it’s because he has two catlike key spirits nobody has heard of before, Espeon and Umbreon. His deck is balanced because of the two spirits’ ability to synchronize with each other, causing all cards on the same field as them to be treated as a yellow or a purple type. Usually cards of different colors don’t interact well, so this ability tends to throw things way off for the opponent.
He goes at his own pace, goes where he wants, and often says things so bluntly that people would challenge him to a fight. Maybe that’s what he wants?

He’s not quite sure how it started, chasing an agile NPC criminal up the side of the building to the rooftop, but how it was suppose to end, with the NPC caught and investigated into, did not happen as he imagined. He was about to nab the NPC from his leap from one roof to another, when he felt the solid floating surface vanish from under him.
Had he used up his remaining time already?
He caught sight of Drum’s expression morphing to shock from in front of the NPC, who took the chance to get away. Then all he saw was a wall of bricks.
“Gao!”
Drum’s panicked voice came from above and it hit him then that he was falling. Swallowing down the urge to scream, he twisted around to stretched an arm towards his partner.
“Drum!”
Claw and fingertips brush, but failed form a grip. Heart pounding fiercely, he looked over his shoulder to the ground that was closing in rapidly; a moment of clarity came.
I’m going to die.
Eyes squeezed shut as he waited for the inevitable.
He’d only been passing by when he’d heard a shout. While he’d normally not bother, or attempt not to, he could hardly ignore it when it came from directly above. His gaze looked upward and...
“...?!”
Someone was falling--a kid?. From that height, the chances for survival were...
He had no choice but to step in. In an instant, Kiriga reached for his white colored deck, calling upon its power as he felt himself be changed. His hair growing longer, a lighter shade of white, his attire changing completely, and when he’d opened his eyes once it was done, they were a striking gray color.
The sequence didn’t take too long, but once it was done, he’d have the wings he’d need to leap to the falling one’s aid.
“Hang on!”
Foolish for him to say, there was nothing the other could hold on to. Still, with a flap of his wings, he was rising into the air, and after a few moments, he’d caught the stranger in his arms. The weight would cause him to use more energy than he thought he’d have, but he’d glide down to the ground for a smooth landing.
He’d...never intended to transform in this city, but here he was. When his feet would touch the ground, he’d feel a wince of pain in the back of his mind, but now was not nearly the time for him to be dealing with /that/. He shoved the feeling away as best he could, setting the stranger onto his feet.
“Are you unharmed? Please, tell me--are you injured in any sort of way? If someone did this to you...” His words trailed off. He’d forgotten how law oriented this form was for him. It’d been ages since he was last like this.
“I’d never forgive one who’d harm another. Justice will be served. I’m only glad that I was there to catch you.”
