Winter turned into spring slowly but steadily as the clouds retreated a little and buds began appearing on the trees, ready to bloom. This meant they could go outside more comfortably and soon they would be harvesting more than root vegetables and they’d have a bigger variety of food and hunting would be easier as animals were on the move too.

Ginny was walking up in the trees over thick willow branches along the water and Harry strolled slowly on the ground, watching her carefully. When the spaces between trees were too big for her to cross, he’d walk up and carry her across. Quietly he considered that due time, perhaps a red-haired toddler would be chasing after their mother over the same branches. He’d carry them across the gaps too.

There have been made several essays and posts and blogs and all the rest of it about why Harry Potter and Ginny Weasley simply WORK as a couple. That is all very well and good, I’ve read tons and tons of them. However, I’ve seen far less posts actually trying to examine the reasons why people hate on Harry/Ginny and going about deconstructing and debunking them. It’s not that people have not done it; it’s just that the proportions, at least from what I’ve seen, don’t add up. So this is my effort to put it a bit more equal lol. Of course there are other reasons for which people oppose this ship, but I’ll probably do those in a later post, because this post is already quite TL;DR lol.
