Meth Kills
If my glamorous lifestyle is appealing to you. And you want to try me because youâve nothing to lose. Then, let me give you a bit of advice. You are a fool. And youâd better think twice. I destroy homes. I tear families apart. I take your children and thatâs just the start. Iâm more valued than diamonds. More precious than gold. The sorrow I bring is a sight to behold. If you need me, remember; Iâm easily found. I live all around you. In school and in town. I live with the rich. I live with the poor. I live just down the road. And maybe next door. Iâm made in a lab, but not in one like you think. I can be made under your kitchen sink. Or in your childâs closet and even out in the woods. If this scares you to death, It certainly should. I have many names, one youâll know best. Iâm sure youâve heard of me. My nameâs Crystal Meth. My power is awesome. Try me youâll see. But if you do, You may never break free. Just try me once and I might let you go. But if you try me twice, then I own your soul. When I posses you, Youâll steal and lie. Youâll do what you have to Just to get high. The crimes youâll commit, For my narcotic charms Will be worth the pleasure, Youâll feel in my arms. Youâll lie to your mother. Youâll steal from your dad. When you see their tears you must not feel sad. Just forget your morals and how you were raised. Iâll be your conscious. Iâll teach you my ways. I take kids from their parents. I take parents from kids. I turn people from God. I separate friends. Iâll take everything from you; Even your good looks and your pride. Iâll be with you always. Right here by your side. Youâll give up everything; Your family, your home Your money, your friends, Youâll be all alone. Iâll take and Iâll take âTil youâve no more to give. When Iâm finished with you, youâll be lucky to live. If you try me be warned: THIS IS NOT A GAME. If Iâm given the chance, Iâll drive you insane. Iâll ravage your body. Iâll control your mind. Iâll own you completely. Your soul will be mine. The nightmares Iâll give you when your lying in bed. And the voices youâll hear from inside your head. The sweats, the shakes, and the visions youâll see. I want you to know: These are your gifts from me. By then itâs to late and youâll know in your heart That you are now mine, And we shall not part. Youâll regret that you tried me. (They always do.) Remember, you came to me. Not I, to you. You knew this would happen. How many times were you told? But you challenged my power. You chose to be bold. You could have said âNoâ and then walked away. If you could live that day over now, what would you say? My power is awesome as I told you before. I can take your mother and turn her into a whore. Go ahead and curse me with every breath. Just make your choice: Will it be life or meth? You will take unknown paths on your journey through life. Some will bring happiness. Some will bring strife. But, my path is one you must not ever cross. Although itâs well trodden countless lives have been lost. Now that youâve met me, what will you do? Will you try me or not? Itâs all up to you. I can show you more misery than words can tell. Come, take my hand. Let me lead you to Hell.
I donât know who wrote this, but I give full credit to them. I came across this on the internet today, and it moved me enough that I felt I needed to share it.
Stop romanticizing addiction
Meth addiction isnât sexy. Its isnât cute. It doesnât make you cool. Its not a fun way of life. Meth addiction is hell. Its torture. Its ugly. Its horrific. Its draining. Its evil. Meth addiction is losing everyone you once cared/loved so much because youve lied, hurt, betrayed, or fucked over in any way possible because you no longer give a shit about a damn thing except for this drug. Its being looked at like youâre total scum & a pathetic human being. Its surrounding yourself with people that only want to use or abuse you. Its losing everything you had & not even giving a fuck because all you need/want is that high. Its sticking needles in your arm in parking lots & public restrooms because you just canât wait another second. Its putting yourself in the most scariest situations because you needed to stay high. Its taking any risk necessary no matter how absurd or scary because you need that fix. Its losing your worth, morals, pride, dignity & then slowly everything about you is destroyed. Meth addiction isnât sexy. Its deathâŠ
I seriously reccomened listening to this, this guy is amazing đđ¶
This life of mine has been one hell of a rollercoaster. So Iâm just cruising along the tracks one day, going up and down on a few hills nothing too bad when all of a sudden BOOOMMCHAALIILAALALALA out of no where I hit full speed right into some upside down twists and turnsâŠone after the next after the next..after the next âŠjust full fuckn speed aheadâŠ..and I havenât slowed down since.
And that is the story of when I first tried meth.

Loving A Drug Addict
I am not an addict. But try and love one, and then see if you can look me square in the eyes and tell me that you didnât get addicted to trying to fix them. If youâre lucky, they recover. If youâre really lucky, you recover, too. Loving a drug addict can and will consume your every thought. Watching their physical deterioration and emotional detachment to everything will make you the most tired insomniac alive. You will stand in the doorway of their bedroom and plead with them that you âjust want them back.â If you watch the person you love disappear right in front of your eyes long enough, you will start to dissolve too. Those not directly affected wonât be able to understand why you are so focused on your loved oneâs well-being, especially since, during the times of your family memberâs active addiction, they wonât seem so concerned with their own. Donât become angry with these people. They do not understand. They are lucky to not understand. Youâll catch yourself wishing that you didnât understand, either.
âWhat if you had to wake up every day and wonder if today was the day your family member was going to die?â will become a popular, not-so-rhetorical question.
Drug addiction has the largest ripple effect that I have ever witnessed firsthand. It causes parents to outlive their children. It causes jail time and homelessness. It causes sisters to mourn their siblings. It causes nieces to never meet their aunts. It causes an absence before the exit. You will see your loved one walking and talking, but the truth is, you will lose them far before they actually succumb to their demons; which, if they donât find recovery, is inevitable. Drug addiction causes families to come to fear a ringing phone or a knock on the door. It causes vague obituaries. I read the papers and I follow the news; and it is scary. âDied suddenlyâ has officially become obituary-speak for âanother young person found dead from a drug overdose.â Drug addiction causes bedrooms and social media sites to become memorials. It causes the âyesterdaysâ to outnumber the âtomorrows.â It causes things to break; like the law, trust and homes. Drug addiction causes statistics to rise and knees to fall, as praying seems like the only thing left to do sometimes. People have a way of pigeonholing those who suffer from addiction. They call them âtrash,â âjunkiesâ or âcriminals,â which is hardly ever the truth. Addiction is an illness. Addicts have families and aspirations. You will learn that drug addiction doesnât discriminate. It doesnât care if the addict came from a loving home or a broken family. Drug addiction doesnât care if you are religious. Drug addiction doesnât care if you are a straight-A student or a drop-out. Drug addiction doesnât care what ethnicity you are. Drug addiction will show you that one decision and one lapse in judgment can alter the course of an entire life. Drug addiction doesnât care. Period. But you care. You will learn to hate the drug but love the addict. You will begin to accept that you need to separate who the person once was with who they are now. It is not the person who uses, but the addict. It is not the person who steals to support their habit, but the addict. It is not the person who spews obscenities at their family, but the addict. It is not the person who lies, but the addict. And yet, sadly⊠it is not the addict who dies, but the person.
