here are some news news news and things things things before the big thing i kind of wanted to share my feels? so I started art school like three months ago but I am struggling finding friends. Especially art friends. I just want to have someone to talk about art and constantly exchange wips to ask for advice or feedback oh man that is like the best??? I live together with two other students who are one year higher than I am but I don’t know them at all and after living with them for four months trying to get to know them would be really weird. All of my classmates are kind of grouped up already, doing work groups after school together and I feel really alone because I cannot join them as I often have my part-time job after school… I just want to talk art stuff with a person who sees me as an equal or a person who looks up to me the same way i look up to them, although maybe for different reasons. art friends you know??? i really want art friends… also I remade my art blog. if you still want to follow my art go to pixemi! i only have one thing I did for school posted there so far (to check out the theme) but don’t hesitate to follow! I’ve been kind of pumped to do some personal work lately and school is not that demanding atm so yess I am going to post! why I remade the blog? first of all as much as I like this url it’s so long? and I don’t really like changing urls after making a blog. also since I started art school I feel like my style and maybe content/direction might be changing slightly as well, seemed like an appropriate time to start anew. So please check out my new art blog!!!

I am very dead with school and midterms are coming up. I haven’t really done much for myself and the assignments are not very publication worthy.. but here is something to break the silence. DAY 6. draw a figure in: 1 hour, 30 min, 10 minutes, 5 minutes, 1 minute, 30 seconds don’t think any of these actually reached one and a half hours, I’ll do something about it.. later. oops

Day 5 -  paint a picture using a limited palette (used this one) I messed with the layer options a bit too much Anyway, I am not too satisfied with this, could have done way better both composition wise and technique wise but.. yeah..

Before doing improve your draws challenge I thought of doing the improvement hell challenge, which is a challenge I did about three years ago. Main idea being that it would be cool to compare the works I did back then and what I can do now. But then I found the more hardcore challenge and dropped this one. I did day one though! I was about to move out and I was dreaming about buying myself a small house plant as a housewarming gift. I really want one!!! ah! but I don’t have money for it. One day though. One day.

I did all of these in 5 minutes each or so while waiting in between the diving method on animal crossing!
