take responsibility for your choices
actions have consequences, including being counted among the weak willed, easily manipulated, and/or cowardly by those who held the line when you opted not to
I don't know what else to say. you fucked up. figure out how to live with that 🤷♀️
Yes, because no one has been coerced into it, forced by the very system that we all loathe at the risk of loosing everything they had.
Are you retarded?
"Losing everything they had," no
Losing comfort and convenience, yes
At the end of the day, it was a choice. No one is free from the consequences of their choices.
I feel like I need to point out that acknowledging the consequences of someone's actions does not mean i have no compassion.
You're not exempt from the consequences of your choices even if you don't like the choice you made.
And again, I don’t think the person in question that everyone seems to be dogpiling on tonight thinks that there’s no consequences to their actions. Don’t think they said anything about that at all.
I'm not dogpiling on any one individual. I am, however, seeing a ton of excuse-making and insistence that caving to threats (that were reversed thanks in large part to the strong and vocal minority who DID push back and hold the line) should simply be ignored and given a pass because it was a hard time. Unfortunately, compliance directly contributed to the problem, regardless of *why* the compliance took place.
If someond caved the first time and then justified it, why should we not believe they'd cave the next time and try to justify it again? Why are people acting like acknowledging cowardice is some heinous assault?

the ross’s gull (rhodostethia rosea) is a small gull and the only member of their genus. they primarily breed in siberia, living through most of the year on ice packs distributed throughout the arctic. they are known for the soft pink coloration they take on during summers. like other gulls, they primarily feed on aquatic prey like fish and crustaceans. they lay clutches of 2-3 eggs; within a few days, chicks are rarely fed and become independent quickly. they are considered vulnerable, with a population of less than 10,000 birds.
