Let me give you a small backstory as to why this is my favorite thing i’ve ever made. — So I use to run a popular Meulin RP blog in the day, and I had a Meucro quadrant. And my moirail and i saw this movie so she leans over and goes, look. it’s your otp. And now i can see it as nothing else and since you are literally in love with this ship as much as me. You need this. <3

Meulin sighed as her and Cronus sat in the church. Their siblings, Eridan and Nepeta had some how fallen in love and they were getting married. Meulin was happy for her sister, but after being married to Cronus for couple of years now, she knew how the glamour of marriage faded away and real life set in. The woman sighed and pushed her hair out of her face, as she looked at Eridan. He was fidgeting with his cuff links and his tie as he looked out into the crowd, waiting for the music to swell and for her sister to come out.

Soon the music swelled and everyone stood. Nepeta was beautiful, just like every bride was on their wedding day. A familiar, strong arm wrapped around her waist as she watched her sister walk down the aisle. “ Meu you look good in that dress, Purple is a good color for you. “ He whispered as he held her close to him. Cronus placed a soft kiss on her head as they sat down.

There was never a moment where Meulin questioned her marriage. Cronus always showed her in some way that he loved her, weather it be a small flower he found on the side of the road or it be a box of chocolates and a necklace that bore the leo sign for her birthday. His arm tightened around her as his thumb rubbed circles on her hand as they watched the wedding unfold. At the reception, Meulin couldn’t help but smile. Her father in law, Orpheus Ampora carried the Italian looks that the younger males carried. She remembered at her own wedding, when it was time to dance with her father in law. She was so nervous and shy, Orpheus was broad and tall and so intimidating, but He was nice enough. Nepeta looked tiny compared to the 6’3“ male. She felt a tap on her shoulder. Meulin turned to see Cronus standing there, offering her his hand. “ Would you like to dance?” He asked. She smiled and grabbed his hand, standing up. When they walked up to the dance floor, She looked around as they danced. Nepeta and Eridan danced close to each other. Orpheus and Artemis spun around and they generally looked happy. Cronus kissed her deeply and smiled , “ I love you.” He said as she laughed. “ You know I always thought there was something magical about weddings.”

Meulin sighed as she looked around at the stark, white barren wasteland which was the area outside of her college. It was a day till Christmas and she was supposed to meet her brother Kankri here so he could take her to the airport so they can catch their flight home. The young woman certainly stood out against the clean, white snow and there was something else..or well the lack of her brother’s car did not stand out against the area around her. She sat down on one of her suitcases as she looked through her phone, seeing the messages from her cousin Porrim, her good friends Aranea and Horuss texting her about the great holidays, and then there was one from a certain guy.

From her days as a young little kitten, she knew a certain boy, who loved the odd things in life, Cronus Ampora was a good friend of hers since childhood and there was another thing about him. Meulin had a crush for the longest time on the once wizard now greaser boy. It started when they were both going to puberty and such were the hormones of a developing teen, which landed them kissing and on top of each when his dad came home. What a nightmare.

Meulin sighed as she put her phone away and stood up before she heard footsteps coming closer. She was about ready to pull out her pocket knife, but when she turned, it was…Cronus?! The 6‘1“ male ran towards her with a cup in hand. Cronus came to a stop in front of her and looked down at her with a grin, “ Hey there babe I thought you needed a bit of love in this world of yours.”
