Here’s my submission for @whatpumpkin‘s comic contest!

I wanted to combine Homestuck and Hiveswap a little bit with this one. This panel sort of started the ball rolling and I was thinking about babysitter Roxy’s backstory and read a bunch of zodiac constellation myths on wikipedia and things got a little intense? So enjoy I guess.

It’s almost 3 am. I don’t have much to say for myself. I’ve sacrificed a lot of sleep for this thing so I figure I should post it. 

I’m gunna go sleep now.

I did this 3 days ago, but realized @pomp-adourable and I’s 2.6 Anniversary was just around the corner, so I decided to wait to this day to post it uvu 

At first I just wanted to draw Eridandy again with some vaporwavish aesthetic, but it turned out... quite representative of us. Starting with Eridandy. The whole Space Dandy/Homestuck crossover is what made us become friends, but Eridan x Dandy is what really brought us together. We bonded over fandoms, eventually becoming each other’s best friends, until the day I was listening to a song that talked about the singer wanting to marry his beloved one, and I thought “If I were to marry someone, it’d be Pomp-adourable” ...but then I was like ”Uh-oh”. I really didn’t have (romantic) feelings for her back then, I just thought she was a great person and a great friend, but ever since I thought about that, I started to develop them and to be honest they were fucking me up really badly :’D The more I’d try to hide or suppress them, the harder I’d fall for her, and eventually I couldn’t keep them hidden anymore. To my surprise she was feeling the same way (grief included lmao) and even though, at first, we weren’t sure this was gonna work, we decided to give it a try and, well, here we are, 2 years and a half later, feeling stronger than ever <3

Anyway, didn’t mean to ramble :’D Just wanted to point out Eridandy is what started everything, so @pomp-adourable this piece is for you!
