It is objectively the funniest thing in the game that whenever anyone in your party meets Vorgoth, they are very polite and just talk to him like a normal person instead of a ominous floating cloud of a kind no one has ever seen or heard of before. No one even freaks the fuck out and is immediately stammering out shit like, "Ohmygod, oh holy fuck, what IS that!??!?!?"

I’ve been watching a lot of paranormal movies lately, especially the fake documentary ones, and my brain keeps thinking about Emmrich.

With or without magic, the whole time he’d be lecturing the ghosts on proper manners going into dad/teacher mode.

He’d be soft and compassionate to the ghosts of victims and children. He’d take no shit from the ghosts of murderers.

That horrible loud noise that has everyone jumping? Emmrich didn’t even flinch.

The mysterious noise you should definitely not go investigate? There goes Emmrich completely confident it’s safe.

“They just need a firm hand. They can be taught.”

The whole time everyone else is freaking out that Emmrich’s going to die.

I just think seeing him in paranormal movies being really chill about it would be neat.

Emmrich is very honest with his emotions without letting himself lose composure. Sure, he tells Rook about the death of his parents, but I think if he ever fell into his emotions to the point of tears, he would isolate himself until he is presentable. His pain presentable.

    Growing up in the Necropolis, there would have been times where Emmrich would be exposed to dificult situations. Empathy is a powerful tool in death care, but it is important to not let it overwhelm you to the point is affects your abilty to help others. He would have learned how to politely excuse himself when things became too much.

    He values emotional vulnerabilty, but would prefer others not see him cry.  People he trusts, especially other Watchers, being potential exceptions.
