Swissness
Leaving Switzerland after 2 months was easy. As easy as a relief. Did not meet anybody awesome to have a deep meaningful conversation with but the country itself is breathtaking! I absolutely adore it! Even your thoughts stop for minutes in a row to dive into the beauty seen from any top of a mountain. But that's equally the feeling Romanian mountains infuse in anybody, at any time. Back to neutrality - if wealth is triggered by how precise time is measured, Swiss wealth is self explanatory. Robotical precision. The value of a Swiss coin is a banknote in all other countries in the world. Unsurprisingly, taxidrivers behaviour is the same like all across the globe. Men are hitting on women on the street like anywhere across the globe. Business is done like anywhere else but add some rudeness and plain offputting behavior and that's a typical Swiss by what I've experienced as a pattern. They don't feel European and never will. Stereotypes and racism - plenty. Totally unimpressive and boring. All these factors shape an easy exit mode. Can I say 'Sexit' just like 'Grexit'? :) Although it fits to an extent my style - sometimes rigidity is a good strategy - I prefer countries with different qualities. Thankfully, i have the power to choose the country that best fits me - and that's quite a power!
