Hear me out!

I don't like the term "weird girl fiction". Because it has the same vibe as "female literature", "female history" and etc. Because yeah, it's like "we can consume and let exist this content, BUT ADMIT IT? KEEP AND IMAGINE IT A PART OF THE WOMEN'S LIVES? AS POSSIBLE AS A SOME VALUABLE EXPERIENCE? LIKE, REALLY, THE EXPERIENCE, MEANINGFUL TO THE HALF OF HUMANITY? THAT'S OFF LIMITS!!!"

Because "weird girl" is a character... who was created for a lot of purposes, but not the full acceptance in the beginning. For me it's always the characters who are represented at first "which flaws this society would tolerate in women". And yes. It's always a longer list for women — in reality and in the media.
