The 2025 season is almost over, meaning the return of Checo in DTS and Cardillac's first appearance in the show. I could imagine the episode being called "The Return of the Number Twos" or "The American Team".

I honestly can't wait to see Colton next year on the paddock. I need more crossover between the F1 and Indy, like I want to see the vibe and am curious how some of the drivers would interact with each other.

The causal racism is crazy

Saying that Checo only has a seat because he was "born rich" and having sponsors is completely stupid and hypocritical, especially coming from a fan who supports Oscar (I also love Oscar). First, we need to understand that yes, he was born richer than most Mexicans at that time. Still, he wasn't as rich compared to the other racer especially Oscar, if you listen to his interviews he talk how his father and him had to drive to a different state so they could afford one plane ticket to Germany, he mention how he had to work part-time in Germany to afford to eat, and how he lived in a restaurant.

In addition, the second sentence is pure idiocy; all drivers need sponsors, Checo is a marketable driver, and his sponsors find him profitable because of his popularity, not just in Mexico, but also in the United States. Checo is well-respected, and he is pretty much the country sweetheart. He is a talented driver who tries his best to help the team. In an interview, he mentions how throughout the season, he and a group of lawyers would discuss how to save Force India (Aston Martin), specifically the 400 workers from being unemployed, resulting in him taking legal action against the team so Force India could be put into administration to allow Lawrence Stroll to buy the team.

Furthermore, he is a talented driver, if you say he isn't, that means you barely just started watching F1 to disagree, his stint with red bull was not his greatest toward the end, but it was because of the undrivable car, which was made obvious this season, we saw how Liam and Yuki struggling with the car, even Max. The car last season killed his confidence, the media was criticizing everything he did, the team, which should have supported him, was talking behind his back to the media, let's not forget the racist comment from Helmut Marko. Checo confessed that the negativity he received had an impact on his side of the garage. He had to face comments similar to the post above throughout his career at Red Bull. Though last year got too much that he needed to hire a mental health coach so his kids could get a happy father.

Imagine investing a bunch of money and resources on Kimi, just to have him out of the team in one year, it will not make sense, make it make sense to me. Like they kick out Paul Aron just to have Kimi, and he has amazing potential, it's actually insane how's well he is doing in his rookie year. It was just last year he join f2 after being promoted from f4 to f2 and now in span of over a year he got his first podium in f1!!!

Honest Opinion About Cadilliac

Coming from my American side, I hope for the team to scream American and not become another Haas. Sometimes I forget that Haas F1 team is an American team, it's just something about them that does not scream American enough. This is coming from someone born in the U.S. It just does not scream "AMERICA FUCK YEAH", it probably because they assimilated to the sport, and only during the US races they remember they an American team. I hope that Cadilliac stay true, and I kinda wish they get an IndyCar driver.

if they get an IndyCar driver, I hope they do well, because IndyCar drivers are soo underrated, many f1 fans assume that their bad because they could've never made to one and that they only race in IndyCar because it was the second-best option. Sure, maybe for the minority it might be true, but IndyCar is absolutely insane, like, just watch one race. They think faster is better, but no it's not, even with that logic IndyCar are faster in top speed. I feel like it would be interesting to see an IndyCar driver switch to f1 and be success. It will open up some uncomfortable conversation revolving f1 and IndyCar, like the unlawful super license points system in IndyCar.
