She put a Snackoo in her mouth out of habit, and ate it before answering with a nod.Ā āYeah, I donāt have anything planned. Will we meet at the movies or will you pick me up?ā This all sounded a date. It wasnāt. Why would she date him, of all people?
āJa, letās meet at the movies, unless you want to take a ride on my hog.ā He laughed.Ā
āI have band rehearsal scheduled for today, so letās say 8:30.āĀ He took his phone out of his pocket, apparently looking something up. Typing. Messenger notification sound.Ā āThere. I sent you the film guide. Choose wisely, FrƤulein Detective.ā ... and with that he turned towards the door. Ā

Unfortunately for Edgeworth, things didnāt go as well as heād hoped they would. Ā While he was trying to leave the concert area, heād ended up getting caught-up in the already excited crowd, getting tossed and turned around until he had no idea where he was going. Ā It might not have been so bad in an enclosed venue, but they were out in the open, with no doors to prevent him from going to restricted areas.
It took him a few moments to realize the crowd had tossed him behind the stage. Ā He didnāt take time to realize anyone else was there, simply standing up and dusting himself off.
āI hate teenagers,ā he muttered to himself.
āDude, that sign says restricted area for a reason.ā Abigail said, examining the tall man. She had a sweet voice, but her tone wasnāt all that pleasant.
Klavier looked up. He couldnāt believe his eyes. What was Prosecutor Miles Edgeworth doing in the backstage area? Could it have to do with Klavierās upcoming graduation? Nein, he simply couldnāt imagine that. He stood up, casting a short glance at his bandmate. But why was he here then?
āAbi, shh. Excuse the FrƤulein.ā He said, while coming closer and reaching out a hand. āGuten Abend, Herr Edgeworth. I donāt think we have met before. Iām Klavier Gavin. As an aspiring prosecutor myself, it is a honor to meet you, ja? This is indeed the backstage area, but donāt worry. Can I help you?ā He slapped on his best smile and - almost successfully - completely hid his excitement and confusion. Ā Ā
@mfgherrgavin
Edgeworth had just wanted to go home, and he constantly felt like if he had to spend five more minutes in Gatewater Land, he was going to scream. Ā And yet here he was at the arena, being dragged around by Kay. Ā She had wanted to see the concert for some new band or another, and somehow, sheād convinced Edgeworth to stay with her.
She was apparently very good at convincing him to do things.
The concert wasnāt going to start for another half hour, though, and while Kay was off getting a band shirt, he wandered off. Ā Heād be back, but he needed some air that wasnāt filled with the screams of teenage girls.
[Backstage area]
He just took a look at the mass of people that had gathered around the stage. His thoughts were spinning. This wasnāt going to be his first gig, but he never played in front of such a large audience ever before.Ā
āGavin, please. Calm the fuck down.ā It was Daryanās voice. āConcert starts in an half hour, no need to get your heart attack right here. If you have to die tonight, die publicly at least.ā Aaron, the bassist, gave a thumbs up.Ā
Gavin laughed, thankful for the rather weird encouragement.Ā āYou are right. We will rock.āĀ
Daryan, being busy with Geeter, looked up again: āMan, they want us... do you hear them screaming? This - ladies and gentleman - is what being famous feels like.ā Klavier nodded, then added: āConstant migraine, ja?ā They laughed.Ā
Story behind the band name
They were thinking about a name for what seemed like an eternity. Early during the process Daryan made a joke about calling the band the Gavinners. Eventually they ended up going with it.
[Klavier and Daryan are sitting on Daryan's bed, thinking about adequate band names for what feels like hours by now. Klavier bashes every and all of Daryan's suggestions. Too unoriginal, too tacky, too edgy, too much grunge, too much this, too much that. Daryan isn't particularly pleased.]
Daryan: "Gavin, you egocentric, little bitch. Here comes the kicker. Gavinners! You get it? The Gavinners. Narcissistic to no end? Checked."
[Klavier looks at his best friend, amused... then he starts laughing.]
Klavier: "I ... You got me. The Gavinners... not too bad, ja?"
Daryan: "Wait, wait, wait... isn't it a bitĀ tooĀ tacky?Ā TooĀ edgy? Too muchĀ Gavin...?"
Klavier: "Shut up and think of a good name for once." [They both laugh.]

āā¦Would you like to come with me? We could watch a movie together.ā Ema Skye, actually being nice to him? Yes, even thatās likely to happen.Ā āAlso, for your information, Snackoos arenāt the only thing I eat. ā¦Mostly.ā
For a moment he seemed to hesitate. Whatās with this sudden change in behavior? It had to be serious if Ema Skye didnāt brush him off right away like she usually did. āWhy, of course, FrƤulein Detective. Are you free this evening?ā

It was a warm Saturday afternoon when prosecutor Gavin was strolling through the supermarket, pushing his - not particularly full - bascart along. He didn't seem to be in a hurry, instead it almost looked like he was wrapped in thought, occasionally checking his shopping list. He wore more casual clothes - a white short-sleeved linen shirt, black skinny jeans and some rather expensive-looking sunglasses. His hair was in itās usual form.
fidcliitas:
āHe⦠wasnāt nice. At all.ā Sighing through her nose, her eyes were locked to the ground. āI havenāt been sleeping well either, so maybe thatās one reasonā¦ā A short pause.Ā āIām sorry.ā
āFrƤulein Skye, please donāt apologize. I appreciate that you told me about this feeling of yours.ā He smiled, but it wasnāt his typical smile. There was a touch ofĀ condolence in it. āMaybe you should take a break for once. Doing something fun for a change... Watch a movie? Eating some real food couldnāt hurt too, ja?ā

Trucy gave him a big smile, assuring him that it was okay and leading the man over to the three items that Apollo had forced her to downsize to. Apollo, however, stood off to the side and watched with a smaller, more amused smile. Gavin should be thanking him for not having to autograph a hundred items.
Klavier signed each item while talking to Trucy, asking her about her day and how they knew that he had practice today. Small talk. He enjoyed small talk to a great extent, not as much as he liked talking about himself or the achievements of his band, but it came somewhat close. Ā
fidcliitas:
āI just⦠sense it. I donāt know why. Maybe itās because I know what heās capable of. I faced him when I was just 16 and my sister got caught up in a detectiveās murder. Itās a long story.ā
āAch, that doesnāt sound like a story full of joyful moments. Quite the contrary actually.ā He sighs, then continues with a concerned tone in his voice. āBut... sensing it, ja? Are you doing fine, FrƤulein Skye?ā

āAch, are you acting as my Gouvernante(*)Ā - telling me what to do, ordering me around? Actually - Iām feeling a little rebellious today.ā He said, putting his fingers to the neckline of his bathrobe. For a moment it almost seemed like Klavier was going to doff it off. āFine, Herr Forhead. If youāll excuse me.ā He said, shutting the door softly.

Apollo was looking just long enough to see that motion, and once the door was closed, he hurried down the hall. Trucy noticed his red face, but he passed it off as having run. Gavin was such an-Ā
āPolly!ā
He sighed, going to sit with Trucy and help her pick out the special things she wanted the singer to autograph.
When Gavin opened the door, he was fully dressed. His hair however was still wet. āI wonāt blow dry it todayā, he thought to himself. āIt simply takes too long and I donāt plan to make this already long day any longer.ā
He greeted the young woman with a soft smile:Ā āNice to see you again, even though I wasnāt expecting either of you. Sorry for the wait, young FrƤulein.ā

He widened his smile as he noticed Apollos reaction: āThis is not exactly my clubwear.Ā All her stuff, you say? That seems like a time-consuming and pretty repetitive task. ja? Where is she?ā
āD- Down the hall.ā Was he smiling?! That little shit.Ā āPut some clothes on before you go see her.ā
He quickly turned around, planning to hurry to go find Trucy.

āEine Minuteā, Klavier said while getting out of the shower. Could be Daryan - he thought, as he threw his bathrobe on - who probably forgot something on the table after band practice. Again. On a second thought Klavier quickly realized: Daryan wouldnāt knock. Not even once.Ā
He opened the door and looked surprised for one moment. Then, with faint smile on his lips he said: āI assume I missed the first knock. Iām sorry. What can I do for you, Herr Forehead?ā
Apollo quickly shot his gaze up to Klavierās face, face turning red at seeing the other in the bathrobe.Ā āT- Trucy wants you to sign all her stuff.ā
At this point he was much too embarrassed to complain about the nickname.

Apollo had promised Trucy that she could meet Prosecutor Gavin, which was a mistake. But here he was, still wearing his red suit, waiting in the hallway for Gavin to open the door to his changing room- A room Apollo wasnāt about to let Trucy go into, so she was waiting a bit down the hall.
He knocked again, tapping his bracelet impatiently. Seriously, what was he doing in there?
