"Can you believe it, Kacchan?? He abandoned her! Just like that! As if she meant nothing to him!" A young man with green hair was almost choking, trying to remain as silent as possible.
After crying for a long time about your fate, sitting between your childhood friends, you had fallen asleep against the young man's shoulder. But he was so angry at your ex that he was having trouble staying calm and not waking you. It was exhausting to cry their eyes out, Izuku knew that.
Your other friend, a young man with ash-blond hair, was sitting to your right, his elbow resting on the arm of the sofa and his chin resting in his palm.
"Calm your ass down, this isn't about you, Deku." He grumbled under his breath.
Izuku blinked; it was true, he had gotten carried away because his mother had gone through the same thing as you. Izuku's father had gone to work on the other side of the world, but he was turning 19 in seven months and still hadn't seen him, like ever. So the green-haired boy was absolutely certain his father had left his mother for good.
"You're right, Kacchan, sorry." He gently stroked his head. "We're going to help her get through this, aren't we?"
The scarlet-eyed glanced at him. "Well yeah, dumbass, we said we'd never let her go again."
The green haired looked at the floor, ashamed. "Yeah, I stopped talking to her," Izuku then smiled playfully. "And you know, Kacchan, pushing us aside wasn't your greatest idea either."
The blonde rolled his eyes. "Tch, I already fucking apologized about that."
Deku's smile widened as he pointed at him. "Once, after a decade of bullying, and it was two years ago. You know I lowkey deserve more apologies."
Bakugo frowned, raising the volume of his whispers slightly. "LIKE HELL I'M GOING TO APOLOGIZE AFTER THAT."
It was Deku's turn to frown. "Shhh, you're gonna wake everyone up!" He then rolled his eyes, amused. "If I can't even tease my best friend.."
The ash-blonde boy crossed his arms, looking away, trying to hide his smirk. "We're not best friends."
But the green-haired boy had seen it. "You're never convincing me with that smirk."They remained silent for a moment, appreciating the tranquility of the dorm. Everyone must have already gone to bed; it was so calm and peaceful. Deku watched you sleep; you looked so exhausted.
After a while, Bakugo turned back to you and him, gently sliding his hands under your legs and arms, then lifting you up.
"We should bring her back to her dorm. She wants to keep her pregnancy a secret, and if she stays here too long, we'll get in trouble. UA already has a damn curfew; we have to respect it."
Deku stood up, nodding. "I'll cover you."
The two boys left their dorm using a window behind the building to avoid getting caught.
They moved stealthily; after a few years of training, they were practically pros.
Izuku had led the way, acting as a scout using the remnants of his quirk, but he suddenly stopped when he spotted a familiar face emerging from another dorm. He returned to the ground and quickly joined Bakugo.
"Kacchan, stop—Aizawa-sensei is over there," he announced quietly, landing in front of his friend.
The blond boy froze, frowning, his scarlet eyes shining in the moonlight. "What? Why the hell would he be around here this fucking late??" he hissed.
Izuku's stress level rose. He'd already been on high alert since they'd decided to take him back to his room—"Should I create a distraction—"
Katsuki interrupted him, whispering a little louder. "Are you fucking nuts?? Your distractions are too fucking loud!"
The young man with green hair let out a small, silent, plaintive cry. "Then what are we supposed to do??"
"Are you really asking me that? After all the fucking shit we went through?? You're still worried about-" Bakugo gently repositioned you in his arms, realizing you had slipped a little.
"We're two months away from graduating! I don't want to get expelled! So of course I'm still worried! You know me!"
"Fucking nerd!" Bakugo barked, but without any real malice. "You're not going to be expelled, dumbass!" He tried to reassure him, Kacchan-style, before placing you in Izuku's arms. "Just fucking take her and use your damn quirk, it’s more silent than mine, I'll be right behind."
Izuku nodded; yes, it was a good plan. They'd get there faster that way.
They took a slight detour to avoid running into their former teacher and arrived without incident at your dorm. Once behind the building, Bakugo and Deku stopped for a moment to try and locate your room. They knew where it was from the inside, but what about outside? It was a bit more complicated, so they started thinking and even checked a few windows until they found yours.
They were lucky you hadn't locked your window, otherwise Deku wouldn't have been able to open it and climb inside. He then helped the ash blonde get in.
As soon as he had his feet on the ground, the ash-blonde boy headed towards your bed. Deku had already put you down on it but Bakugo now tucked you in so you’d be more comfortable.
The two young men watched you sleep for a few seconds. You looked more peaceful in your bed than on the couch in their dorm. Izuku smiled at Bakugo, who walked away towards the window. The green-haired boy hurried to join him, but just as they were about to climb out of your room, you stirred awake.
"Kacchan? Deku?" You mumbled, sitting up and rubbing your eyes, like a child woken in the middle of the night.
Izuku's lungs seemed to stop, and his heart skipped a beat. Was he having a heart attack? No, not literally, but seeing you like this, calling their names so sweetly—it felt like his chest was being crushed. Izuku so badly wanted to lie down beside you and hold you so tightly. Yes, well, he wouldn't hurt you, and he'd feel terrible about it forever if he did, but he just wanted you close.
The green-eyed boy smiled tenderly. "Hey, sorry we woke you up."
"Go back to sleep, idiot." Bakugo's voice sounded harsh, but Izuku could easily see his scarlet eyes looking at you with the same glimmer of affection.
"Can you guys stay?" You mumbled like a sleepy toddler asking for another story but also fighting off sleepiness.
Deku held back a squeal of distress; you were going to kill him if you kept being so cute.
Apparently, you'd also managed to win Bakugo's heart because the blonde man scratched the back of his neck, something he very rarely did.
Izuku watched his friend, who reciprocated the gesture. They didn't need to speak; and they'd both be in deep trouble if they were ever found out. But at the same time, could they resist you?
They approached you, and Izuku settled on your bed to your left, while the blonde took your right. Almost immediately, you hugged them close, and Izuku felt his face flush as he saw the same thing happen to Katsuki's expression.
You didn't take long to fall back asleep; Izuku gently stroked your hair. The ash-blonde laying on his back, arms crossed but his arm pressed against yours at all times.
"I knew you crushed on her as badly as I do," Izuku said, raising an eyebrow, while his friend merely frowned. Knowing him, he must be cursing him for reading his thoughts. "Though at some point, I thought you'd end up with Kirishima."
Katsuki's scarlet eyes turned sharply in his direction. "Huh? Shitty hair? Nah, and I thought you'd end up with Roundface."
The green-eyed boy smiled, amused. "I thought so too, but with everything that happened, Uraraka and I kind of went our separate ways, and when you guys brought me back.."
He gazed at your peacefully sleeping face, remembering the end of his vigilante days, when he arrived at UA and the refugees tried to prevent him from staying on campus.
Izuku scanned the crowd, not looking for anyone in particular, and his eyes fell on his mother, Inko, the woman who, like him, was overly empathetic for her own good. She was crying and had even tried to reach him, but Bakugo's mother, Mitsuki, stopped her, preventing Inko from attracting the hatred of the civilians simply because she was Izuku's mother.
He wanted to smile at her, to tell her that everything would be alright, but he had been so exhausted.
Then Ochaco used her quirk to float to the school’s roof and gave a beautiful speech that deeply moved him. He was already very emotional, but this had broken his heart.
He would have remained standing and wept quietly, but a face in the crowd caught his eye: you.
He remembered the happy years he, you and Kacchan had shared when you were little. Then Bakugo received his quirk, destroyed your friendship, and distanced himself from the both of you and you had tried to maintain your friendship with Izuku, but he too had drifted away.
The realization that he had abandoned you hit him hard, and with Uraraka's touching speech added to the mix, he began to collapse into his lap.
Izuku blinked, snapping back to reality, his gaze falling on you, sleeping peacefully, nestled between him and Bakugo. Then he looked up at the ash-blonde, who seemed to be waiting for him to keep talking.
"I saw Takara in the crowd when Uraraka was reaching for the civilians, and it hit me like a truck."
Takara was your nickname since you were little. "Takara" meant "treasure," and originally, it was your parents who used it. Izuku and Katsuki adopted it right away because, being just toddlers back then, it was easier than finding you another one. But ever since you reconnected, they continued to call you that. You were secretly their treasure, and they hoped that one day, you would be their treasure forever.
Katsuki nodded before turning his gaze back to the ceiling, looking thoughtful. Izuku did the same but didn't stop stroking your head.
They remained silent for another while before Izuku spoke again, glancing at his friend.
"You still get up around five? I still don't want to get caught" He chuckled.
The blondie snorted. "Yeah, yeah, I'll wake your damn ass up"

You felt a hand intertwine with yours and another gently rest on the side of your head. It was so warm and comfortable, as if the sun were shining directly into your room.
Your arm was lifted slightly, and you felt a tender pressure on both the back of your hand and your forehead.
You couldn't help but smile. How pleasant it was.
‘We?’ Who was ‘we’? Oh well, you liked this feeling a bit too much to even care.
Then you suddenly felt cold. Had the sun already set? You grimaced and grabbed your blankets to warm yourself up. There, that was better. But a cold breeze reached your face for a few moments. You grimaced again before it all stopped abruptly. It was like being in a dark room in the middle of winter; you found it rather unpleasant.
You sat up, blinking several times to wake yourself up faster and take in your surroundings.
Oh, you were in your room.
You smiled gently despite the slight sadness that crept into your eyes. How bittersweet to dream about being loved and then waking up alone..
You then turned your head toward your clock. 5 a.m.? Phew, no way were you getting up at that hour; the sun wasn't even up yet. You quickly snuggled back under your covers to let sleep take over again.
*---*---*
A week later, you woke up with the worst feeling in the world. You felt awful, as if you'd drunk hundreds of beers the night before.
Just the thought of drinking beer made you feel sick, but you never would have believed you'd feel nauseous so early. You nearly hit the wall as you rushed to the bathroom, where you emptied part of your stomach.
Half an hour later, you were looking at yourself in the mirror. You looked awful, but you still had to go to class. So you got ready slowly, maybe even too slowly, moving as mechanically as an old robot, but you felt too sick to move properly.
You finally left your dorm and found your two old friends waiting for you outside. They turned almost simultaneously when they saw you come out, and their eyes widened.
Oh shit, did you really look that bad?
"Hey," you almost mumbled.
"You look like shit, Takara," Bakugo frowned.
"Are you okay?" Izuku asked, his eyes wide with concern.
The blonde moved closer to you, watching the volume of his voice. "Morning sickness?"
Deku had also moved closer to hear what his friend was saying, and his eyes widened even more with worry.
You nodded. "Yeah, but I'm fine now."
The two exchanged a quick glance before the green-eyed boy added, mumbling with his fingers on his chin, "Maybe Ochaco still has some nausea pills.."
Bakugo nodded with Deku before looking at you. "I'll get you some during lunch."
The green-haired boy took his phone out of his pocket and started typing. "I'll ask Ochaco to meet me in front of the school to get you some, at least for this morning."
So you and your friends then headed towards the school. The conversation never turned to your symptoms or your situation; they were making sure no one found out, and you really appreciated that. You mostly listened to them talking, too afraid that as soon as you opened your mouth too much, everything you'd swallowed yesterday would come back up.
When you arrived in front of the building, you noticed a young woman with brown hair approaching Izuku. Ah, yes, you recognized her—it was Uravity! So her name was Ochaco? That was rather pretty.
The ash-blonde man, on the other hand, grabbed your elbow and walked towards the school. Oh yes, that's right, you had to act as if those pills weren't for you. You gave Katsuki a sheepish smile, and he scoffed and gently flicked your forehead.
You and Bakugo waited for the green-haired boy nearby. You were close enough to hear their conversation, so you listened out of curiosity.
Ochaco had a bright smile. "I've got what you asked! You know, I've been better at controlling my nausea, but I always keep some in case my quirk acts up."
Izuku smiled nervously. "Ah, thank you, you're saving me again!"
But the girl's expression slowly faded. Enough for your throat to tighten and for the blonde boy, next to you, to frown.
"But um, Deku, are you okay? Why would you ask for those?"
The young man in question widened his eyes. You frowned too, mentally begging him not to stammer, like he used to do.
"Ah uh- I think I should've checked the date on the package of what I ate this morning-"
A silent groan came out of Katsuki's throat and you tried your best to not sigh. Izuku always sucked at lying. You knew him and ever since these two came back into your life, they hadn't changed much. In fact, you'd say they 'improved'.
But anyways, if Izuku didn't stutter when he lied, then he'd stay silent but he'd clench his fists and frown while his eyes and lips quivered.
But to your surprise, Ochaco giggled. "Oh no! I totally get that, haha! Here, you can have my whole bottle; there are only three pills left in it."
Izuku seemed just as surprised as you, maybe even more so, but he took the bottle anyway. "Oh- Um- But you-"
The young woman with brown hair waved it away. "It's okay, really! I got another."
Deku's huge, sparkling smile returned. "Thank you!"
Your heart skipped a beat at his expression. He was so.. charming, and that smile was so contagious that it made you smile too.
Ochaco waved goodbye to Izuku and started to walk away. "See you in class!"
The young man waved back before practically leaping toward you.
The ash-blonde, still by your side, smirked and grunted, "You still fucking suck at lying. You're lucky she trusts you too much to even care."
Izuku chuckled as he handed you the bottle of pills while Bakugo gave you his water. "Yeah, well, I still don't like lying so.."
You swallowed the pill in one gulp, then took large gulps of water, wiping your mouth with the back of your hand.
You glanced curiously at the ash-blonde as you handed him back his bottle
“What would you have come up with, Kacchan?”
The man took a sip as well. "Would've said I'd puke over her shoes if she didn't give me some"
You snorted but it came out so weirdly that it made both boys chuckle so you put your hand over your mouth.
“What the hell was that??” The blondie teased, snickering and poking your forehead.
"I don't know! Don't laugh at me!" You giggled as you swatted his hand away with your free hand.
Izuku chuckled a bit louder.
You turned around to face the man with green eyes. “Not you too!” You playfully tried swatting at him too.
"I'm sorry it just- haha! It was so cute!" He laughed, dodging your swats.
“That wasn’t cute, that was fucking horrible” Katsuki continued to tease you.
"HEY!" You tried to act insulted but ended up laughing with your friends..
*---*---*
Two more weeks passed without too many problems; in fact, your nausea had even eased a bit. It was less bad now that you were nearing the end of the first month, or, according to Izuku, the end of the fourth week.
Besides, the green-haired boy had asked you that morning if he could measure your belly with a tape measure, just to see how your pregnancy was progressing. Knowing how passionate he was about taking notes on things that interested him, you couldn't refuse. Bakugo grumbled, telling his friend that doing that was ridiculous, even though you'd caught him staring at your lower belly while Izuku measured. You gave him an amused smile, but the ash-blonde boy quickly looked away, the tips of his ears bright red.
Anyway, after this little 'scientific study session,' you accompanied the boys to their classroom.
A young man with spiky red hair, Eijirou Kirishima, practically jumped out at you. You'd only recently learned his name, along with the rest of the 'Bakusquad,' as Bakugo's friends liked to call themselves, much to the ash-blonde’s dismay.
"Bakubro! Where have you been?"
Another blonde boy appeared before you, a black streak in his hair; he looked disappointed. "Yeah! We can't be the Bakusquad if you're not here!"
"SHUT UP, I CAN DO WHATEVER THE HELL I WANT!"
Their presence was already frustrating Bakugo, because he started yelling at them. Well, ‘yelling’, because let's just say that after the last four weeks, you'd learned the ‘new’ tones of voice your old friend was using, and this tone wasn't actually bad. It was quite sweet to see. Your childhood friend, Izuku's former bully, the young man who had ‘lackeys’ following him everywhere as ‘friends’, now had real caring friends and took him out to have fun.
You smiled tenderly at the sight, and when Katsuki glanced at you, your expression shifted to playfulness. He frowned but smirked at the same time, so you knew he wasn't actually angry.
Another young man, calmer and taller, approached. He had hair that was half red and half white. You didn't really need to get introduced to him because his family had been the talk of the country for quite some time. Shoto Todoroki, son of Endeavor and brother of Touya Todoroki, also known as "Dabi," a terrifying criminal when he was in action.
"Ah, Midoriya, Bakugo, my sister told my mother about you two, and she'd like to invite you for dinner this weekend if you're not busy." Shoto spoke calmly, never raising his voice even though the Bakusquad seemed to be drowning him out. In fact, he seemed used to it because he didn't look bothered.
"Sure, I'd love to! Kacchan and I don't have anything actually-"
"HA?! LIKE HELL I'M GOING!" Kacchan barked. You were slightly surprised to see that he'd heard everything while he was yelling at the Bakusquad. "The first dinner was already crap except for the damn food your sister made!"
Since they both seemed quite preoccupied with their friends, you decided to take a few steps back before walking away without a word, because after all, you had to go to your first class of the day.
"TAKARA!" A woman's voice called your name.
You turned around, tilting your head to one side. Oh, it was Mina, and she ran over to you, putting an arm around your shoulders. "Wanna eat with us at lunch? Pleaaaase?"You chuckled. “Sure, why not?”
Mina squealed happily before adding, “Also, the weekend before graduation, I’m organizing a sleepover, girls only! Wanna join?”
Izuku and Katsuki watched you, looking worried. Why? You weren’t sure, but you did heard them say that Mina was always snooping around once.
But a sleepover? You weren’t sure you wanted to go. Normally, you would have said yes without hesitation because Mina seemed nice. Except, the weekend before graduation? Would there be alcohol? Okay, a drink or two wouldn’t affect your pregnancy much, but what if they encouraged you to drink more? And then there was your belly.. Right now it was fine, barely visible, but in a month? Would your pajamas be able to hide your little bump?
However, you couldn't see yourself refusing. The 3As were so friendly. "Uh- Yeah! Sure, okay!"
Mina quickly hugged you. "You'll see, this is gonna be so fun! The boys will also be having a boys' night on their side, and maybe we'll get to prank them!" She squealed, all giddy.
You giggled, giving your two friends a mischievous look, and they now seemed suspicious, so you laughed even harder. "As long as it's not harmful, I'm all in!"
The pink-skinned girl smiled broadly, her hands on her hips. "YAY! I knew it, you rock!"
She then left you to go to class, and you hurried too, not wanting to be late.
For the rest of class, your mind was elsewhere, thinking about the sleepover, wondering if it would be fun, stressful, or relaxing. But hey, if they were to find out about your pregnancy the last weekend before graduation, you weren't really going to get expelled.
Yes, you immediately reassured yourself with that thought. You weren't risking anything, and you were going to have a great time.
*---*---*
It was the last week of school before graduation. Your days were getting better and better; you were experiencing less morning sickness, so today you decided not to take any pills.
Little did you know, today was unfortunately going to be a stressful day.
First, you'd forgotten you had an exam this morning. You'd studied everything, of course, but you hadn't noticed the time passing!
You took a few deep breaths to calm yourself. You could do it; it was just an exam.
During the exam, you felt better. The worst part was before going into the classroom; once you were "in the zone," it was okay.
After the exam, you felt a little jittery, but you knew it would be fine. The hardest part was over, after all.
Except that as you were heading to your next class, you received a text. You thought of Katsuki or Izuku, but you froze when you saw your ex's name on the notification.
You flushed the text and inhaled deeply. You weren't going to fall for that. You were stronger than that; he was just a coward, like Bakugo kept saying, or like Izuku said, a heartless guy.
As you put your phone in your pocket, you realized your breathing was slightly shaky, so you took several deep breaths.
It was okay, you were fine, so you started walking to your next class.
Honestly, you were glad he changed majors during your second year at UA because otherwise, you didn't know what you would have done. Skipped class to avoid seeing him? No.. But it would have been incredibly hard to ignore him.
Classes before final exams were always pretty calm. If it wasn't a review session, it was time for studying. So that's what you did, and pleasantly enough, your thoughts didn't sink.
Then it was lunchtime. Finally, a break where you could sit with your childhood friends. Otherwise, it would be the Dekusquad or even the Bakusquad. Again, the third-year students were so friendly; you always felt comfortable with them. Deku's friends might be quiet compared to the Bakusquad, but they were both equally warm.
You received another notification as you left class. Oh, it was probably one of the two groups that had invited you to eat with them.
You frowned when you saw it was your ex again.
[Please? It's also my kid.]
You wanted to place a hand on your stomach, instinctively wanting to reassure the life inside you, but you only clenched your fist, to prevent anyone from noticing this maternal gesture.
This man would never be the father.
He had forfeited that right by running away.
You should block him, actually, so that's what you did. Take that. He wouldn't bother you anymore.
You descended the stairs leading to the cafeteria hallway, and the moment you set foot on the last step, you saw someone with broccoli-like hair running towards you.
"Takara!" His smile instantly lit up the hallway. "They're serving your favorite food today!"
You gasped, starstruck. "No way!"
Izuku grabbed your hand and rushed off with you to reach the cafeteria before it got too crowded.
Once your meal was served, you sat down at a table and ate with Izuku and Katsuki, who had joined you shortly after. You chatted about a bit of everything, but you had to admit that hearing them talk about agencies, which they were considering for employment after graduating from UA, was exciting, so naturally you asked them several questions about it.
After lunch, the little trio strolled quietly down the school hallways together, passing the time before classes resumed.
"Have you thought about a name yet?" Izuku asked. You were alone in the hallway, so why speak in hushed tones?
Katsuki rolled his eyes. "She's not even two months in, dumbass."
"Kacchan, it's fine, you know how he is." You chuckled.
Izuku smiled, looking embarrassed. "I just—I already thought about some names to help you out if you're interested or whenever you want to have a look at—"
You heard your first name, yes, your first name. It wasn't even your last name or nickname, which froze you all in place.
Your heart skipped a beat, and your stomach clenched. You recognized that voice. A male voice.
Then you turned toward that said male voice.
Your ex, alone, right there, just a few meters away.
Bakugo frowned almost immediately, growling.
Izuku frowned too, but instead of anger, he looked more wary and suspicious.
Your ex's black hair almost hid his eyes. He had canine ears, sharp fangs, hairy arms, claws, and a long, wolf-like tail. You used to love that a few months ago, because he reminded you of that quote: 'Tough on the outside but soft on the inside,' but today, your feelings have changed. His long hair looked like a mop caked in mud.
"I just wanna talk.." He took an uncertain step forward.
This made you instinctively back away, but both Bakugo and Midoriya shielded you by stepping slightly in front of you.
You didn't know why, but your ex didn't seem like the one you'd loved just a few weeks ago. He was different, and not in a good way. Your instinct told you to stay away. Maybe it was his quirk? Lycanthropy?
"I don't want to," you almost mumbled.
He took another step forward, and out of the corner of your eye, you saw your friends' fists clench.
"Please, I—It's my kid too, I—I just want to talk."
You didn't like that tone of voice. He sounded desperate, and you even thought you detected a kind of growl. He'd never growled before, not even when he was angry.
Bakugo snarled. "Are you fucking deaf? She said no.”
"Please, I just want to talk! I don't even know what you're planning to do once we graduate!" This time it sounded like a growl mixed with plaintive cries.
Your ex moved forward again, and you stepped back once more, which forced your two friends to stand directly in front of you this time. You heard soft cracking sounds coming from the ash-blonde boy's palms while you felt a draft coming from Izuku's direction.
Oh shit, they'd activated their Quirks.
"You want a second chance?" You blurted out.
You started to tremble slightly.
You didn't look him in the eyes. "You lost every chance any human could have when you abandoned me! I know we're young, but I still want to keep it! You even said you wanted kids!"
He seemed to recoil in shock. "I- Yes! But NOT now! I'm not ready!"
You were trembling even more now, tears welling in your eyes. All the stress you'd accumulated during the day seemed to want to burst out all at once.
To add more to your already bad state, your stomach was in knots, but you weren't finished speaking.
"You think I am?! I never planned to have one this early! But I'll have them, no matter what! I can always have more later, or none after this one!" You gagged but quickly put a hand over your mouth.
Bakugo and Deku tensed immediately as they watched you gagging again.
Your ex seemed caught off guard.
The ash-blonde man grabbed your wrist and dashed down the corridors towards the nearest toilets.
*---*---*
But Izuku remained rooted to the spot. "It's Kubo, right?" He and Katsuki knew his name; you had told them, but he remained polite nonetheless and used his last name when addressing him.
"I don't really know your story.. And I'm not sure if I want to know, but she doesn't want you in her life or the kid’s.. So please respect that and leave her alone. Maybe she'll agree to talk later."
The green-haired boy turned in the direction you had fled from but didn't immediately charge. "If you don't respect her wish, Bakugo will probably jump on you before I do. I'd prefer to talk, but," he glared at the brown-haired boy, even though he was smaller than your ex. "I will fight if I have to."
He found you easily, as he heard the screams of frightened women. He held himself back from rolling his eyes. Kacchan, what had he done now?
He saw several young women running out of a bathroom, and Izuku stopped dead in his tracks at the entrance. He looked at the girls, who seemed insulted or stressed.
"Sorry! Um- Did a guy walk in here with Taka-?" He cut himself off and quickly corrected himself. "-A woman?"
"Yes! He shouldn't be here! Please get him out, Deku!" One of them groaned.
It was always strange being ‘popular’ like this. He didn't know her, and yet, since he had saved the world, she knew him.
"Sorry, sorry! Our friend was about to get sick, so he rushed her in and-" Izuku began to stammer.
"Get him out!" She groaned.
"Sorry!" he yelped, rushing into the bathroom, almost wondering if he should cover his eyes.
Finding you was as easy as a piece of cake. He saw Katsuki sitting against the wall of one of the bathroom stalls. Just by the way he was positioned on the floor, Izuku knew you were probably leaning against him, crying in his arms.
The green-haired boy approached and heard you whispering.
"I-I can't do it, K-Kacchan.." You mumbled between sobs.
Your teeth chattered, your whole body trembled against the blonde boy. You weren't scared, no, nor cold, Izuku was certain of that. It was all the pent-up stress finally coming out. Seeing you like this hurt him so much. He could already feel his emerald eyes filling with tears as his heart sank.
"I can't.. Can't do this anymore—I'm not—Not ready at—at all!" You sobbed into the blonde's arms.
As Izuku searched for words, Bakugo answered. "No one's damn ready for anything.. And when we say we are, it's just that we're preparing for the fall so we can quickly get back up again."
The green-eyed young man smiled gently as he crouched down beside you. He placed a hand on your shoulder and squeezed it softly but tenderly to comfort you. "We'll fall with you, Takara, and we'll make sure that we're all going to stand back on our feet, no matter what may happen."
You smiled softly at him, your eyes filled with tears.
Katsuki smirked at his friend. "Because we're fucking stubborn, you know that."
You let out a half-chuckle and half-sniffle.
Izuku sighed, half amused and half annoyed. "I wouldn't have put it that way, but he's right." He stood up, nervously scratching the back of his neck. "If you're feeling better, Kacchan and I have to get out of here before a teacher finds us."
You nodded and watched Bakugo stand up, but before they could take a step, you grabbed each of their hands. They stopped dead in their tracks and stared at you, surprised.
"Thank you," you whispered to them with a wide smile, as if they had just saved you from a certain death.
Izuku shared the same smile, while Bakugo only managed a small one, his eyes and face gentle.
"Anytime Takara," they said in unison before hurrying out of the girls' bathroom.
*---*---*
Saturday night arrived, two days after the incident with your ex. It was the last weekend before your graduation! You were so excited to graduate, and on top of that, you were headed to the sleepover Mina had organized!
It was Bakugo, accompanied by Midoriya, who was driving you there. You'd been a little nervous getting into the ash-blonde boy's car, thinking he'd be the epitome of road rage, but no, he was skilled, and honestly, you'd never been in a car so stable. His turns were perfect; you didn't feel his acceleration or even the bumps in the road, and nothing was jolted.
You watched his face in the rearview mirror. He'd changed so much since the time he was bullying Deku. You gave him a tender smile, and at the same moment, he glanced back at you, also using the mirror. "The hell are you smiling for?"
Your smile widened gently. “You’ve changed, it suits you.”
He blinked and took another quick glance at you, frowning in confusion. “Hah? I’m just in my fucking pajamas—”
Izuku and Katsuki were also going to a sleepover, but it would only be the Class 3-A boys. They were going to spend the night at the Todorokis’ house; apparently, it was big enough for everyone. You just hoped his family wouldn’t make a mess of things or anything that would make the 3-A boys uncomfortable, because, yes, Deku had told you about their ‘famous dinner’.
Neither group could be away from Shizuoka for too long if they wanted to make it to graduation on time Monday.
Your smile, if that was even possible, softened even more. “I wasn’t talking about that.”
But he didn’t reply because you had stopped the conversation by observing back outside the car.
Once you arrived at Jirou's house, you got out of the vehicle and grabbed your bag, but the seat window rolled down, revealing a worried face with green eyes. “Will you be okay? I mean, of course you will, but you got everything? The ginger pills, water—”
You stopped him immediately, raising a hand and smiling. “I’m fine, mom.” You teased him slightly.
Katsuki barked a laugh. “Hey, fucking respect your mother!”
“No way, old man!” You joked back, sticking your tongue out, as Izuku just sighed, but he still looked amused.
You played around with the two men for a few more moments until Mina and the others kidnapped you.
Inside, it was really pretty. There were lots of music references, from albums hanging on the walls to posters of singers, or just decorations related to musical instruments or notes. There was also a lot of purple, white, and black, but it was very Jirou-esque, and you loved the style.
In the living room, the sofas had been pushed against the walls to make room for seven beanbag chairs, each a different color. The girls explained that they were all their favorite colors and that they'd bought you one too. Jirou even added that it was a gift for each of them because she didn't want to keep seven beanbag chairs at her place. It was so cool and so sweet of her that you collapsed comfortably onto your beanbag chair of your favorite color. It would be your first item for your future apartment.
By the way, you really needed to start looking for an apartment.
Then the evening began. You chatted, played games, watched a movie, and of course, ate several snacks. The clock ticked by, and even at midnight, you were still awake. None of you wanted to go to bed right away; you were having far too much fun. But it was still late, so you just chatted quietly.
“Say Takara, what will you do once school is over?” Jirou asked.
You had given them permission to use your nickname since you were used to it. Honestly, you would find it weirder if they used your last or first name.
Besides, you already knew them well enough to feel comfortable with them. You had been spending a lot of time with the members of Class 3-A for the past two months, ever since your childhood friends had reconnected with you. At first, you thought they would only talk to you if Deku and Kacchan were around, but eventually, they all approached you from time to time just to hang out. You even often ate lunch with some of them, without your two friends present. You thought Class 3-A considered you one of their own, and you appreciated that feeling.
"Ah, I don't know.. I keep thinking about it recently." It was true; you had never really known what you wanted to do with your life, but when you heard Izuku and Katsuki were going to U.A., you decided to follow them, even though your friendship was over at that point.
Besides, with your pregnancy, you thought it would be a bit more complicated to find a job. You didn't think employers would want to hire someone who would already go on maternity leave when you hadn't even been working with them for a year.
“Maybe an artist? I draw, paint, and write a lot. I also thought about becoming a therapist, but I have this tendency to take everyone's problems on my shoulders and get overwhelmed.” You smiled, embarrassed, before continuing.
“So I started studying psychology for fun ever since I witnessed that fight with Shoto and Izuku during the sports festival. From that moment, I could tell something else was going on, but I couldn't put my finger on it.” You silently examined your hands, your expression thoughtful. “You know, I've always been observant and I always analyzed people in a way. Then I often wondered why Kacchan turned his back on us and why people became villains. Because I personally believe no one is born evil and that there's always a reason behind everything, so I thought that there should be a reason, right?" You didn't even realize that the girls were listening to you in silence.
“So yeah as I said, I started studying psychology for fun and started to observe people more than I already did and found out I could almost read people like books, which is lowkey fascinating to me. When the entire country found out Dabi was Endeavour's son, I tried figuring out why he'd be a villain when his younger brother aspired to be a hero hence I studied him for a bit, uh but from only the videos of course.” You chuckled, embarrassed.
“I was quite surprised that some of my theories were quite accurate once Deku told me about the time they were at the Todorokis before the war." You placed a hand on your chin, just thinking about the green-haired boy. "Maybe I should talk to Izuku about this. He should stop sharing so many details about his friends, but he loves you guys so much, it's adorable!"
You finally smiled. "Yeah, anyway! That's pretty much-" You realized they were all looking at you intently and froze, blinking rapidly. "Oh, sorry, I was rambling-"
The girls giggled softly.
"Oh my god, I understand so much now," Ochaco giggled.
Jirou nodded with a smile. "Yeah, after all that, it's quite obvious."
You looked at them all in confusion. What were they talking about? You must have missed a chapter somewhere.
Momo put a finger to her chin, smiling. "This is quite amusing. She's just like them, but not at the same time!"
"Like who??" you asked, still confused.
Mina giggled, amused and giddy. "Izuku and Katsuki silly! You're so much like them but so different at the same time!"You blinked and giggled slightly, not believing a word the girls were saying. “What? No-”
Toru jumped forward—well, her pajamas jumped forward because she was invisible—interrupting you. “You’re smart and observant like them!”
“Midoriya-chan rambles too,” Tsuyu pointed out.
“However, you don’t seem reckless like them,” Momo stated with a soft sigh, as if she were reliving a scene right before her eyes.
You grimaced. Yeah, you’d seen some clips from the war, and Izuku and Katsuki often charged head first into battle without thinking, or at least, they seemed to.
Ochaco agreed. “Yeah, I agree, you seem more thoughtful and—” The brunette hesitated. “Well, maybe a bit more than us too.”
Toru’s sleeves fluttered as if she were shaking her hands. "I actually think that's because of our 'hero genes' that we act without thinking!"
Jirou nodded, but she glanced at you. "Sure, but in some situations, thinking more before acting, like Takara, could be better."
You nodded in turn, shaking your hands defensively. "Yeah, totally! It depends on the situation. There's nothing wrong with being reckless or thoughtful, but we have to find a balance between the two!"
Toru suddenly stood up. "Oh, girls! That reminds me, I brought some sake! Who wants some?"
The girls all asked for some, some only asked for one glass, but not you. In fact, your mouth moved without you even thinking.
"No, thanks, I can't because of my pregnan—" You quickly put your hands over your mouth to stop yourself from speaking, your eyes wide.
The girls all gave you surprised looks.
Momo was the first to recover from this sudden shock. “Did we hear correctly? Are you expecting a baby?”
You didn’t take your hands from your mouth, your eyes still wide, but you nodded slowly.
They all blinked before they all happily, or excitedly, squealed, screamed, or gasped loudly and in unison.
"AND I HAD A BET WITH DENKI THAT MOMO WOULD BE THE FIRST ONE TO BECOME A MOM, NOW I OWE HIM MONEY" Mina whined.
"Who? Me?" Momo blinked before chuckling, flustered.
"Yes! You're like a big sister to us!" Ochaco jumped for joy at the compliments.
The young woman with dark hair smiled. "Well, I am quite flattered then!"
Toru jumped around wildly before stopping abruptly in front of you. "Wait guys!! Takara, who's the dad then?!"
They all gasped before they began thinking and theorizing together.
You didn't have time to react; they were so excited they were too fast for you.
"Midoriya-chan?" Tsuyu suggested, a finger to her chin.
"I bet it's Bakugo, have you guys seen how he looks at her?" Jirou added.
How was he looking at you? You blinked, wait, what? But before you could ask, Mina interrupted your train of thoughts.
"No way he acts like a bad guy, but he's secretly a softie. Have you seen how he reacted when the war was over and all those girls were running after him?" The girl with pink skin laughed. "BOY WAS HIDING BEHIND TENYA!"
The image made you chuckle. Bakugo, hiding from a group of girls? It's true he'd never been popular with the female gaze, even when you were little.
"Well, it can't be Izuku either. Have you seen how flustered he gets with women who get too close?" Toru added as she giggled.
Before they could continue theorizing, you decided to push your way into the conversation and, unfortunately, shatter their dreams. Oh, but wait, you realized, why did they all think the father of your child was one of those two???
"It's none of them, actually."
They all blinked, then looked at you, incredulous expressions on their faces.
Your gaze fell to the floor. “Yeah he uh, decided to run for the milk. He actually tried talking to me a few days ago but I refused.. I’m still too hurt from that..”
The girls fell silent suddenly, too suddenly, you felt uncomfortable until Jirou cleared her throat and glanced at you.
“Oh it was you wasn’t it?” Jirou started but you didn't understand. “Two months ago, I heard sobbing in our living room’s dorm but when I tried to find out who it was, I could only see Izuku and Katsuki, they looked fine so I figured they were watching a movie or something, I’m sorry Takara”
Ochaco suddenly gasped before you could add anything. “THE NAUSEA PILLS!!”
Everyone blinked in confusion at the sudden change.
The brunette approached you and gently took your hands, avoiding touching you with her pinkies. “They weren’t for Izuku were they? They were for you”
You smiled, embarrassed, but nodded all the same. “Sorry, the three of us kept it a secret. We were too scared I’d get thrown out.”
Momo snapped her fingers. “That explains why they were so protective of you.”
The pink-skinned girl crossed her arms, pouting slightly. “That’s why Bakugo didn’t want me to eat my favorite snack whenever you were around. He said the smell made him sick, but it was you! Oh, when I get my hands on that blondie!”
The frog-like girl smiled and placed a hand on Mina’s shoulder. “I’ll come to your funeral.”
Everyone laughed. Yep, no one believed she’d survive a fight with the ash-blonde. “I’ll try to hold him back.” You chuckled.
“So you’ve been together for about two months?” Jirou asked suddenly.
“But they’ve both been helping you?” The young woman with dark purple hair continued, arching one eyebrow as a slight smirk crept across her face.
You felt like taking a few steps back; you didn't like the look on her face. It was like she had a plan behind her head.
She glanced at the others. “You girls know what I’m thinking about?”
“They have a crush on Takaraaa~” Toru hummed.
You instantly blushed, shaking your hands defensively. “What no- They’re just being nice and they don’t want to lose me again, that’s all!”
“I highly doubt that,” Momo chuckled gently.
Ochaco laughed too, still sitting in front of you. “Izuku is nice to everyone but that’s beyond being nice, he’s been hiding this from us-”
“-when he can’t even lie” Tsuyu finished, nodding again.
Mina sat up suddenly, jumping up on her legs. “GIRLS, YOU KNOW WHAT THIS MEANS?! IT’S TIME TO GET REVENGE ON THE BOYS THAT LIED TO US!”
Toru jumped to her feet, too. “IT’S TIME TO PRANK THE BOYS!”
In the end, their plan wasn't dangerous, and it wouldn't cross the line either. Their plan was simply to go to the Todorokis' house, after sending Shoto a quick message for him to unlock the gates, and launch a surprise attack—no quirks involved.
You didn't join them; you quietly entered the Todorokis' residence with Momo. She told you she didn't like participating in this kind of fun, but she loved watching them enjoy themselves. That’s how you understood better why Mina considered her maternal; she was already acting like a mother watching over their kids.
Soon, you heard the boys shouting, especially Bakugo's aggressive shouts, let's be honest, and it made you and Momo laugh.
You took it as a sign to enter the building without ruining the girls' plan.
"Phew, you girls scared us!" Sero chuckled with a sigh.
“I wasn’t, I heard them coming” Shoji smiled, amused.
Denki shook him lightly. “And you kept it to yourself!” He whined. “I almost had a heart attack!”
Jirou laughed with Shinsou. “He screamed like a girl” She added.
You laughed at the blonde boy who started defending himself against the two others with purple hair.
They were all laughing together; the girls' prank seemed to have gone down well. You smiled as you looked around for the girls.
Toru was chatting with Ojiro, Sato, and Koda.
Izuku was laughing with Iida and Ochaco.
Tsuyu was with Tokoyami and Shoto.
But your attention was suddenly drawn to some abrupt movements. It was Mina, wrapped around Bakugo's waist like a koala while Kirishima and Sero tried to separate them, but the blonde boy was struggling too much.
"Oh my-" Momo said, wincing.
"FUCKING- LET ME GO ALREADY RACCOON EYES-"
"NO, I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU AND IZUKU HID THIS FROM US! I THOUGHT WE WERE BESTIES! I DEMAND APOLOGIES!" Mina whined.
You noticed both Izuku and Katsuki suddenly freezing.
You saw their eyes slowly turn in your direction, which was lowkey creepy. The one with green hair looked nervous, while the ash-blonde's expression was unreadable.
You smiled. "It's okay, the girls know, and it's not like I'm going to get thrown out two days before graduation."
Shinsou gave you a strange look, his eyebrow arched. "Why would you get thrown out?"
All the other boys were watching you too, all wondering the same thing, and suddenly you felt like you were too much in the spotlight, you felt uncomfortable and embarrassed.
"Um-" You looked around at the girls, who just smiled and gave you a thumbs up. "Well- I'm pregnant."
Lots of gasps were heard, but it was soon interrupted by Sero, Kirishima, and Denki's happy/excited screams.
The blond guy with the black bolt in his hair spun around towards the ash-blonde. “NO WAY BAKUGO YOU-”
“I DIDN’T DO SHIT!” The scarlet-eyed man interrupted him immediately.
Sero sneered, putting a hand over his mouth. “What? You mean you’re still a virgin?”
The ash-blonde boy suddenly tightened his jaw, holding back every swears in the world, his cheeks and the tips of his ears flushing slightly.
“That means-” Shoto began, looking at the ground before abruptly turning towards the green-haired boy.
In fact, all the other guys did the same, and Izuku was suddenly the center of attention. You felt like you were all back at the sports festival, when Izuku scored 10 million points after the first trial.
He quickly shook his hands in front of his chest, his face as red as a tomato. “WAIT- NONONO- I-”
You and the girls started laughing at their reactions.
But again, you didn't really understand why everyone thought they could be the father of your child. Sure, they had spent a lot of time with you over the past two months, but it seemed to you that you weren't close enough to consider yourselves a couple, right?
The men looked at you, confused.
“It’s none of them,” you chuckled. “And I’d rather not talk about-”
Katsuki finished your sentence for you. “That fucking deadbeat.”
An awkward silence fell over the room; you could see it on their faces. They all felt bad for you, and honestly, you felt bad for having caused this. Until a young man with lilac hair started chuckling, and of course, everyone turned toward him.
“So that means you two are now competing to be the stepdad or something?” Shinsou smirked.
That made most of the class laugh, even you.
Only Izuku and Katsuki looked embarrassed or insulted.
“What no- We’re just- we’re just helping!!” the green-haired boy shouted.
“I DON’T WANT A DAMN BRAT!” The ash-blonde crossed his arms.
Mina giggled, clearly amused by the situation. “Oh, they are SO competing!”
You and the entire class started laughing. At one point, when he finally overcame his embarrassment, Izuku laughed too. You even think you saw a small, genuine smile appear on Bakugo’s face before he was hit by a pillow thrown by Kirishima.
A pillow fight ensued, lasting a good half an hour before everyone collapsed from exhaustion. Luckily, the girls had remembered to bring their things before leaving Jirou’s house.
You woke up about two hours later and sat up, rubbing your eyes a little before realizing how adorable the scene around you was.
Everyone was asleep snuggled up together, even though you had positioned yourselves in a way that wouldn't invade anyone's personal space. However, seeing everyone like that made you smile.
As you slowly got up, you didn't realize that Izuku was asleep to your left and Katsuki to your right. You looked around for Shoto, careful not to step on anyone. While also silently hoping to not disturb anyone’s sleep.
*---*---*
Scarlet eyes opened in the dim light. Whispers echoed softly in the room; that's what had woken him.
He frowned. Why were you bothering Icyhot?
As soon as he asked himself the question, the man with red and white hair stood up, and you followed him. From the direction you were heading, Bakugo guessed you were going to the restroom.
He was about to close his eyes but suddenly remembered your condition and wondered if you were feeling unwell. So, he too got up to follow you.
Little did he know, the green-eyed man to his left also woke up and was going to follow you soon.
As he approached the restroom, Shoto glanced up at him.
"Did we wake you up?" Shoto muttered, waiting for you on the other side of the door, as Katsuki approached him.
"S'fine.." The ash-blond man mumbled, his eyes barely open.
More subtle footsteps could be heard behind Bakugo, but he didn't react; he already knew who it was.
"Everyone okay?" mumbled the green-haired boy, looking even worse than the ash blonde with those zombie/bed-like eyes.
Shoto nodded. "Yeah, I'm just waiting here because sometimes the door gets stuck.. We're supposed to fix it this week."
"Hm," hummed the ash blonde and the green-haired boy, still too sleepy to even react normally.
They remained silent for a little while longer. The blonde boy even thought Izuku had fallen asleep, with his shoulder leaning against the wall. But Shoto's murmur kept them awake.
The red-eyed silently scoffed. "You already asked one."
But the two-toned-haired ignored him, too used to the blonde’s antics. "What are your plans with her?"
Bakugo blinked, watching the two-toned haired man with one eye. “The hell is that supposed to mean?”
The green-eyed man slipped his hands on each side of his pants, having no pockets since they were pajamas. "We're just trying to help Takara as much as we can.."
Shoto hummed in acknowledgment. “You’re not competing like Mina said?”
The ash blonde silently scoffed at how ridiculous this sounded. “Nah, no matter what she damn chooses, we’ll respect it.”
Izuku nodded. "Mhm.. She could choose one of us or none and we'd be fine.. We just wanted our friend back." He mumbled, still half awake.
Katsuki nodded. "I trust Deku but if he fucks up, I'll kill him"
He was so sleepy that he never really registered what he had just said. So sleepy that he didn't understand why that damn green haired nerd thanked him.
*---*---*
It took a few more seconds before they heard the toilet flush and then the handle turn, but the door didn't open. The handle moved again, but a creaking sound made Shoto react, signaling you to step back a little. Two or three seconds later, he managed to unjam it without any trouble.
"Thank you," you whispered before your eyes widened at the sight of the Big Three: Shoto, Deku, and Bakugo, standing right in front of you.
"You okay?" the green-eyed boy murmured.
You let out an amused huff. "I think I slightly dozed off on the toilet."
The blonde boy frowned, holding out his hand in front of you, and moved his arm at the same time as Izuku. "Just come back to bed, idiot" Bakugo grumbled without real bite.
You mumbled an "okay" before taking their hands and following them into the room where the rest of the class was asleep.
You lay back down, and Izuku snuggled up to your left while Katsuki sprawled out to your right.
You drifted back to sleep fairly quickly; you didn't dream, but you never felt cold.
The next day, everyone woke up around the same time, around noon. Several of them started cooking for the rest of the class, and once everyone had eaten, it was time to go home.
You and the girls went back to Jirou's house first to pick up the beanbag chairs she had bought for all of you.
You returned to UA to finish emptying your dorm; there wasn't much left, so it went smoothly. You then relaxed for the rest of the day.
The day after, everyone was excited because it was the last day at UA, and it was also graduation day!
You celebrated with your classmates this time, and after the tearful goodbyes, you headed to your parents' house. Your belongings would stay there until you found an apartment and a job.
After finding a temporary job, you stayed with your parents for a few more weeks until one day, Bakugo and Midoriya offered you a place to live, saying they had found a three-bedroom apartment available. You readily accepted.
So you continued working for a few months, until you could take your maternity leave, while Bakugo forged his path as a hero.
You knew Izuku wasn't entirely happy studying to become a teacher, but his quirk was fading more and more, and by the end of the year, he had nothing left. You and Katsuki encouraged and comforted him as best you could, though.
The money you didn't spend, you gave to Bakugo, who had secretly started funding a project to help Izuku become a hero again. Alas, by the time you reached your seventh month of pregnancy, he no longer accepted your money.
"Turn around and leave with that fucking money of yours."
You froze, then blinked. "Why? I can help finance your project—" You silently gasped and looked quickly in the hallway to see if Izuku was listening. "Don't tell me it was canceled—"
Bakugo scoffed. "Nah, I'm just putting it on pause for your incoming brat. You're going to need that money, and it's about time you start buying baby furniture."
You blinked again. "But Deku's—"
He sighed. "It's expensive as hell, and it's.." He hesitated, frowning. "Fucking annoying, but it's going to take years to build, too."
The blondie stood up from his desk, walked around it, and placed his large, warm hands on your shoulders. His scarlet eyes met yours as he gently squeezed your shoulders comfortingly. "I know you want to help; you're a damn bleeding heart like him, but—" Katsuki pointed at your stomach. "-they're coming sooner than the armor whether you like it or not. Besides don't you dare worry about the cost, the class and even fucking All Might are still sending some cash from time to time"
You looked down, a little disappointed. "Oh"
"Yeah, 'oh', we're going to buy brat stuff this weekend and if I have to grab you both by the ears, I damn will"
You giggled at him and he smiled. “You won’t have to do that”
He raised an eyebrow, an amused and defiant smirk on his face. “Wanna bet?”
Next weekend, as promised, Katsuki "kidnapped" you both to buy several necessities for your soon-to-be-born child.
By the way, your pregnancy was going really well; it was only during the first two months that things weren't going so smoothly. Okay, you cried or lost your temper sometimes, but the boys didn't have too much trouble calming you down.
There were just the uncontrollable and weird cravings you'd get that would make them fall off their chairs, metaphorically, but they still complied.
Finally, after another two months, your child was born.
It was the middle of the evening. All Might had been invited to dinner to discuss a problem with a villain with Bakugo, and of course, Izuku helped them as best he could. In fact, he seemed much happier when he was helping them than when he was studying to become a teacher so they didn’t stop him from helping.
It wasn't that he didn't like the job, but everyone who knew him knew that his blood, his heart, his genes were those of a true hero. In short, he was born for it, and the universe had taken it all away, so you were all doing everything you could to give it back to him.
Anywho, you had gone to bed a few hours after dinner. It was around 10 PM when you woke up with a terrible stomach ache.
You got up to try and ease the pain, but the closer you got to the dining room, the worse it was. When you reached the room where the three men were talking, you were practically doubled over. "K-Kacchan.. Deku!" You groaned, almost sobbing.
The three men turned to face you, but everyone froze when you felt water trickle down your legs.
"I'll get Hercules ready!" The former Symbol of Peace rushed outside. "Young Bakugo, get everything, and you grab her, young Midoriya!"
"DON'T GIVE ME ORDERS!" Bakugo barked even though he rushed to get the necessary bags from your room.
Izuku obeyed immediately and grabbed you bridal style. "You'd be there in no time if I still had One For All. I'm sorry!" he murmured, dashing after his mentor.
You squeezed his arm, groaning in pain and closing your eyes.
"It's okay, Takara, I'm here, it's going to be okay!" He tried to reassure you, but you still heard his voice crack a little.
It was expected of a man who could put himself in others' shoes and empathize with them.
Outside, you climbed into Hercules, the former hero's vehicle. You'd barely settled in when explosions erupted from the top floor, and Katsuki landed behind the vehicle, stuffing the bags into the trunk before getting into the seat next to All Might.
"Hercules, the quickest route to the nearest hospital now!" the former hero ordered, and the vehicle obeyed.
In less than ten minutes, you arrived at the hospital, and the three men nearly blew open the emergency room doors, Katsuki holding you in his arms.
Nurses immediately grabbed you and took you with them. But one nurse stopped the two young men. "Which one of you is the father?"
They exclaimed simultaneously, "WE ARE!" They looked at each other. Could they say that in a hospital? They changed tactics. "I MEAN HE IS!" They looked at each other again, a slight panic setting in. So no one would be with you?? "I AM!"
"KACCHAN YOU'RE NOT HELPING!!" Izuku yelled, panicked at the thought of you being alone.
"WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING, EH?!" Bakugo barked, worried for the same reason.
All Might placed his hands on each of their shoulders.
They both looked at him with such intensity that it was as if they were back in the middle of the war, two years ago.
The former Symbol of Peace looked the nurse straight in the eyes, a wide smile on his face. "They'll both go. If there are any rules against that, I'll pay the price."
Izuku immediately teared up. "T-THANK YOU!"
But Bakugo, ever the emotionally constipated man, turned his gaze to the floor. "T-Thanks," he muttered.
"Go, young ones!" their former teacher exclaimed.
He didn't even need to tell them twice because they were already dashing down the corridors, using techniques learned at U.A. to avoid the staff or patients they encountered. Sometimes by propelling themselves off walls, and sometimes by leaping onto stretchers or benches.
All Might stood there, smiling. He was so proud of his two boys. They were still so young, only 19, recently graduated, soon to be 20, and they-
He smiled, uncomfortable.
-And they were already causing damage for him to fix and pay for.
*---*---*
Three hours of screaming, pushing, and crying
Three hours of crushing your friends' arms with your fierce grip
Three hours of hearing their encouragement and reassurances
Three hours of pushing that little being out of you
Three hours before finally hearing the baby cry
And two hours later, you were nestled between Izuku and Bakugo on your hospital bed. It was Bakugo holding your child—No, your son.
Yes, you had given birth to a beautiful little boy. He already had little tufts of hair on his head, the same color as yours. Otherwise, he seemed to resemble his biological father. But you didn't care because today, nine months later, it was Izuku and Bakugo who held him against their chests first, not him.
Actually, now that you thought about it..
“I want you guys to be there for him..” You murmured, watching your son hold the blonde man’s pinky.
The blondie, who didn’t seem to notice that he was gazing at the child with such tenderness, which was quite unlike Bakugo, until you spoke.
Izuku, too, couldn’t take his eyes off the little boy; he even reached out to stroke his tiny hand.
But both men straightened up at your voice, looking at you, but you kept your eyes on your newborn. “I want you guys to be his fathers..”
You teared up, probably from exhaustion, or maybe because you were finally opening your heart to them. “I want you both to raise him.. I- I want you both in my life, forever.”
Your heart sank, and your throat suddenly tightened. You weakly shook your arms in the air, helpless, unable to speak because of your sobs cutting you off.
Izuku wrapped his arms around you, resting his head against yours.
Bakugo stood up to place your son in the hospital crib before sitting back down beside you, also wrapping his arms around you.
You forced the words out. "I- I want our hearts reunited- I-" You choked on a sob, raising your arms to hug them closer. "I love you both, so much- I- I don't think I would've been able to do it without you guys."
Izuku kissed your temple, stroking your head. "We love you too," he whispered softly, smiling.
"Our treasure, Takara." Bakugo nodded, kissing your cheek and then stroking your back.
You chuckled as you snuggled into their arms. They were so warm, and you were so happy now that you were a family. A big, happy family.
"Though we haven't chosen a name for the brat yet," Katsuki muttered, amused, before giving you another kiss, this time on the top of your head.
You blinked before giggling a little. "I was so absorbed in admiring him."
Deku placed a kiss on your shoulder. "Who couldn't? He's beautiful, you did amazing, Takara."
You felt as if a ball of light was warming your chest. How wonderful it was to be loved by those you cherished..
You looked at your son tenderly. A name.. His name.. Your son's name.. Their son's name too now.
"Hm.. Ryo." You smiled broadly. "Ryo will be his name."
