Hello I am Mi-Yeong, former member of the Sunlight Sisters. The Universe I come from is very different from this one, and I couldnt remain there anymore so now I am here!

Mi-Yeong, used to traveling between universes, stepped through the portal to find herself in a very lovely home filled with a lovely family.
"Hello, Mi-yeong," Jinu greets her as she walks through the living room and gestures for her to have a seat on the couch across from him. He was in his human form to not make her too uncomfortable. "It's a pleasure to have you here. Would you like anything?"
Faint sounds of children playing and splashing around in the backyard could be heard. He'll get to that later.
Mi-Yeong took a seat on the couch. "No thank you for asking," she said. "So I understand you want to discuss some stuff,"
"Oh boy...where do I even begin? Um..."
Jinu begins to go over his own knowledge of the sunlight sisters and the information Rumi gave him. How this universe's Mi-yeong passed when Rumi was a baby, and Celine looked after her.
Then to the uncomfortable area when it comes to how he, his mates, and Huntr/x know each other in the first place. First, the plan to get rid of the honmoon for good, Gwi-ma agreeing, and the exhausting work of going through with it.
He talked about how he got to know Rumi and genuinely started to see her as a friend and vice versa. And how he inevitably started to feel worse about what he was doing.
"I...I admit. I was doing it for my own selfish gain. I- I wanted to...forget some things about my past. I was never happy about it, though. And another part of me just wanted a good life for my children. If I went back on it...I don't even want to think about what he would do to them. You have every right to hate me. I only want you to know Rumi."
He then went over the intention of the idol awards. Yes, all of it. Including the argument he and Rumi had. He knew Mi-Yeong deserved to know everything, and he didn't feel like being dishonest with his friends' eomma.
But instead of what was supposed to happen, they...banded together. Against Gwi-Ma. After everything, Rumi still chose to help them.
(Ooc: I'm still working on how all of them banded together, so all I can be is vague for now. I had to include the video 'cause it's sooo good!)
"And that...is how we ended up here. Now, with Hwa-young, we jeoseung saja can have kids without exactly touching each other. It's up to our bond and sometimes the intention.
Bonds are very powerful for demons like us. Rumi, Zoey, and Mira confessed to each other, and that inevitably led to Hwa-young's existence. She was born on May 28th this year."
Mi-Yeong nodded, listening to Jinu explain everything.
"I see. I dont blame you for doing what you did. I have also done things I'm not proud of," she said. (<ooc: I might be going somewhere with that but idk for sure yet)
"I didnt realize that jeoseung saja were hunted in the other universes. In mine it was only dokkaebi. Jeoseung Saja and Hunters had a deal. As long as they didnt cause harm to living humans then we wouldn't hunt them and they could carry on their work as guides for departed souls," she said.
"I appreciate you talking with me. I never got a chance to see my Rumi either. After my Poppy and Celine passed during a hunt gone wrong, I became so overwhelmed with grief that I ended up miscarrying. And by that point, Sun-Woo (<OOC: Rumi's dad) had returned to the demon realm to continue his duties," she explained.
Jinu gave her a small smile, and he let out a breath he didn't know he was holding. "I am very sorry for your loss. I can...imagine the feeling. I've felt it too. And I'm...sorry about Sun-woo. If I may ask, did he leave you without so much as a word or...did you part ways respectfully? I want to know so I avoid thinking wrongly of him."
"It was respectful dont worry. He had duties to attend to, as did I," she explained. Mi-Yeong appeared to be figiting with the end of her sleeve.

Jinu sees her fidgeting but doesn't think too much of it and nods, "Alright. Now, I have to talk to a certain someone about you being here. Depending on her reaction, she'll want to meet you today or we'll have to schedule a date."
He pulled out his phone to type out a message to Rumi.

By the silence in the chat, Jinu texts, "Hey, it's okay to be unsure. You have every right to make any decision you want right now."
"I-I think we should meet. Just to see." Rumi wasn't entirely sure about this. But if there really was someone claiming to be her alternate mother then, well, she just had to know.
Mira cozied up next to her lover. "As long as you're sure Rumi."
"Yeah," said Zoey, picking up Hwa-young. "We'll be right there with you too.
Rumi nodded her head. Pulling her girlfriends and daughter close, she breathed deeply, closed her eyes, and poofed them out of the tower and to the Saja house.
Jinu saw the girls poof into the living room, in front of the door. He smiled and looked at Mi-yeong. "There she is."
Mi-Yeong looked over at the young family, suddenly nervous as her eyes landed on another version of the young woman who would have been her daughter.
"Hello," she said, smiling kindly, albeit nervously.

A strange package...
Pidge fidgeted in front of Celine's (@celine-kim-sunlight) door, she was sure both her and Poppy (@poppyseedsunlight) should be there considering the way they'd talked about each other. Usually Pidge would just pop right in, whatever was going on be damned, this however... the package she brought with her was a little different. Her heart began to race. She'd really stepped in it this time. She'd broken a universe. Grabbed someone out of where they were supposed to be. The dirt from the alleys and ozone from the slain demons clung to Pidge's clothes still. She'd gotten lucky. Her current package had been the one to get them off her. So, here she was. Delivering said package. Just a messenger she kept telling herself. Kept lying to herself. despite her package's constant reassurances that, 'everything is fine, nothing is going to fall apart' Pidge couldn't calm her anxieties... even if they did meet another of her, nothing had happened from multiple versions meeting... but taking someone essential for one reality to hold together to another... throw on top of that Pidge knew there wasn't supposed to be one of her in this reality, but at this rate Pidge was stalling and she could sense her package's eagerness begin to shift to impatience. So, she knocked and stepped aside letting her package take center stage at the door. She'd really stepped in it this time.
Mi-Yeong took a breath. She knew the risks that Pidge was taking for her by doing this. But her universe was already broken. Any universe without Celine and Poppy was broken in her eyes.
And from what she understood, the universe she had picked not only had Cici and Poppyseed, but this was a universe where Rumi had survived. Mi-Yeong had never had the miscarriage that had all but destroyed her will to keep fighting demons.
When Pidge knocked on the door, Mi-Yeong's breath caught a little, suddenly nervous.
“Pidge? Hey, hows the shipping? Whaddya ha…. uhh… Miyeong?”

"yeah... one Miyeong for a Miss Poppy and Miss Celine..." Pidge tried to half joke feeling the air thicken her every instinct telling her this was bad. she could only hope this turned out well for the three. "Just uh.... don't kill the messenger? or her preferably. she kind of saved me, and she's not a demon or illusion or anything."
Poppy’s breathing quickened. Her eyes widened like a deer that heard a twig snap. Her hand kept twitching, aching, yearning for the reliable and grounding feeling of the Honmoon’s steel battle axe she had been alloted all those years before.
But it never came. Her fist clenched around air, and she fell to her knees, sobbing.
“MiMi… how? Why?” She snarled.
Her heart throbbed and thrashed, and her chest felt like a prison of pain and torment. Her nails dug into the floor, causing what seemed like just a little too much damage for just her nails, before she slumped on the doorframe.
“MiMi… my MiMi… Mi-Yeong… tell me you aren’t a dream…”
Her arms hung at her sides, limp, but she clearly wanted to hug Mi-Yeong.

"Hey hey, its okay Im real Poppyseed," Mi-Yeong said gently. "Pidge helped a lot to help me find you," she said. "I just cant believe I get to see you and Cici again," she said, her own eyes beginning to well up.
"Where I came from. God Poppy a hunt had gone so bad. You and Cici didnt make it and I was alone," she said. "And then the stress caused a miscarriage," she said. "I couldnt stay there," she said.

*Celine lasts exactly a second in her arms before wrapping up her and Poppy tightly. This may not technically be her Mi-yeong, but it feels so wonderful to hold her again without having to return her*

Mi-Yeong's arms tightened around Celine. She laid a gentle kiss to her cheek. "Is Rumi okay? I've seen her all over the billboards," she said.
OOC: I'm gonna claim multiverse madness and say she's in her 40s because the multiverse is weird like that. I know Celine is the canonical maknae which makes this other Miyeong being younger than her infinitely more entertaining

So, your mother, our worlds Mi-yeong. I didn't communicate this properly, shes not... dead. She never died, she's been trapped in a separate dimension. Ive been trying for years to work through loopholes and get her back to us.
@ryu-rumi-kang I’ve also tried to find where she was. My attempts to find her made me have a sense of… wrongness. It came from me finding her. It’s why I was in America. I also hoped that maybe you and your hunters could help when the time came. Who do you think pushed Zoey to go to America?
I couldn’t personally oversee you because of my wrongness. But I fully want to be here for you, and to find my MiMi. Our MiMi. But having two is nothing to complain about though, one for me and one for CeCe. And we can switch!
Rumi, who was clearly trying to process everything at once, only nodded. It was very clearly a lot for her to absorb at once.
Go hug your eomma, Rumi. Even if it’s not yours-yours, go hug her.
Rumi paused for a moment before the emotions finally overwhelmed her and tears welled in her eyes as she threw herself at Mi-Yeong, wrapping her arms around her tightly.

Mi-Yeong wrapped her arms just as tightly around Rumi. "Oh my girl you grew to be such a beautiful young woman," she said.
Surien walks into this tender moment before backing up. "I'm...just gonna....." she speeds off leaving the two be. They then hear sniffles from the living room.

With a heavy sigh, Surien agrees. Carefully she approached the tender moment between the two. "...Hello.....ma'am...I...I'm...Surien...I'm...Rumi’s sister...kind of. Its a long story, but the short version is....I was adopted."

She'd really stepped in it this time. She'd broken a universe. Grabbed someone out of where they were supposed to be. The dirt from the alleys and ozone from the slain demons clung to Pidge's clothes still. She'd gotten lucky. Her current package had been the one to get them off her. So, here she was. Delivering said package. Just a messenger she kept telling herself. Kept lying to herself. despite her package's constant reassurances that, 'everything is fine, nothing is going to fall apart' Pidge couldn't calm her anxieties... even if they did meet another of her, nothing had happened from multiple versions meeting... but taking someone essential for one reality to hold together to another... throw on top of that Pidge knew there wasn't supposed to be one of her in this reality, but at this rate Pidge was stalling and she could sense her package's eagerness begin to shift to impatience. So, she knocked and stepped aside letting her package take center stage at the door. She'd really stepped in it this time.
Mi-Yeong took a breath. She knew the risks that Pidge was taking for her by doing this. But her universe was already broken. Any universe without Celine and Poppy was broken in her eyes.
And from what she understood, the universe she had picked not only had Cici and Poppyseed, but this was a universe where Rumi had survived. Mi-Yeong had never had the miscarriage that had all but destroyed her will to keep fighting demons.
When Pidge knocked on the door, Mi-Yeong's breath caught a little, suddenly nervous.
“Pidge? Hey, hows the shipping? Whaddya ha…. uhh… Miyeong?”

"yeah... one Miyeong for a Miss Poppy and Miss Celine..." Pidge tried to half joke feeling the air thicken her every instinct telling her this was bad. she could only hope this turned out well for the three. "Just uh.... don't kill the messenger? or her preferably. she kind of saved me, and she's not a demon or illusion or anything."
Poppy’s breathing quickened. Her eyes widened like a deer that heard a twig snap. Her hand kept twitching, aching, yearning for the reliable and grounding feeling of the Honmoon’s steel battle axe she had been alloted all those years before.
But it never came. Her fist clenched around air, and she fell to her knees, sobbing.
“MiMi… how? Why?” She snarled.
Her heart throbbed and thrashed, and her chest felt like a prison of pain and torment. Her nails dug into the floor, causing what seemed like just a little too much damage for just her nails, before she slumped on the doorframe.
“MiMi… my MiMi… Mi-Yeong… tell me you aren’t a dream…”
Her arms hung at her sides, limp, but she clearly wanted to hug Mi-Yeong.

"Hey hey, its okay Im real Poppyseed," Mi-Yeong said gently. "Pidge helped a lot to help me find you," she said. "I just cant believe I get to see you and Cici again," she said, her own eyes beginning to well up.
"Where I came from. God Poppy a hunt had gone so bad. You and Cici didnt make it and I was alone," she said. "And then the stress caused a miscarriage," she said. "I couldnt stay there," she said.

*Celine lasts exactly a second in her arms before wrapping up her and Poppy tightly. This may not technically be her Mi-yeong, but it feels so wonderful to hold her again without having to return her*

Mi-Yeong's arms tightened around Celine. She laid a gentle kiss to her cheek. "Is Rumi okay? I've seen her all over the billboards," she said.
OOC: I'm gonna claim multiverse madness and say she's in her 40s because the multiverse is weird like that. I know Celine is the canonical maknae which makes this other Miyeong being younger than her infinitely more entertaining
She's okay, she's been so successful and strong. She's .... oh. I never even told her our worlds Mi-yeong isn't dead. I may have made a mistake.

So, your mother, our worlds Mi-yeong. I didn't communicate this properly, shes not... dead. She never died, she's been trapped in a separate dimension. Ive been trying for years to work through loopholes and get her back to us.
@ryu-rumi-kang I’ve also tried to find where she was. My attempts to find her made me have a sense of… wrongness. It came from me finding her. It’s why I was in America. I also hoped that maybe you and your hunters could help when the time came. Who do you think pushed Zoey to go to America?
I couldn’t personally oversee you because of my wrongness. But I fully want to be here for you, and to find my MiMi. Our MiMi. But having two is nothing to complain about though, one for me and one for CeCe. And we can switch!
