people are complicated
and i canāt today lol
In need of a vacation like yesterday.
terrible years really make you understand the point of a new year. i know nothing much will have changed between dec 31 and jan 1, but we need to be able to partition off everything thatās happened to us, we need a moment to say, āthatās done, weāre done with it, itās overā and have a little hope that the future will be different. we need to be able to stop and take a breath and sing, in the middle of winter, and prepare ourselves for spring.
āWe need solitude, because when weāre alone, weāre free from obligations, we donāt need to put on a show, and we can hear our own thoughts.ā ā Tamim Ansary ā”
hey guys, it's been a whiiiiiiile. ā„ļø
i think iām tired of everything at this point. i give up.
I donāt wanna be in love. I think.
Iām not happy.
Iām that kind of person who keeps letters and birthday cards, tickets from trains, concerts, parks and museums.
Hurricane Michael fucked us up.
Itās been over a week since Iāve had running water and power. Phone service has gotten better, but itās still in and out in certain areas. But i canāt really complain much because the community that I live in has been super great. Very friendly neighbors, met a lot of nice people. Everybody helping everybody out. Iām forever grateful And humbled.
