My little robot is done, textures are finished and the rigging is also working.

I want to share a few details before I make any animation with them.

Thinking about these details made it a lot more fun to work on them.

Found the original sketches for my little guy....So much nostalgia. So I thought I could reblog the model and yap about the character again.

Toli is simply an adventurer who records interesting stuff it sees on other planets and then shares the recordings by playing them on the TV on its chest. :)

I've also been playing around with the idea of Toli working with archivists and scientists of its home planet. Being sent on research missions and bringing back information and/or samples. Although its design doesn't reflect "adventurer" enough for it to be its actual job... I'd probably need to rework that.

It also scratches "tattoos" into its metal plates (they get replaced from time to time, so it can make new designs every once in a while)

Perhaps I could revisit all of my old robot world concepts....

Also gonna share some screencaps from my old semestral movie about Toli and its friend Avot. Because even though the movie is kinda shit, I do like the colours and vibe.

Faust sketching before bed.

Faust's doors have been on my mind a lot lately. They could be used for a lot of interesting compositions. I've been thinking about him just sitting/standing up in the sky. Contemplating life, letting the wind caress his body...I hope Ill get to make a proper piece about it someday.

A little gift for the wonderful @rammliedmania !! I cannot describe how hard this design hit me and how much I needed to draw them. It's so unique and pretty in a unique and bit grotesque type of way... GAAH!! So cool!
