“Oof, that’s definitely your first mistake right there.” Never have high hopes when it came to him. He was the king of letting people down and honestly, he wasn’t sure if part of him was okay with it, or if he had just accepted things for how they were. In Lucky’s mind, not everyone was supposed to do well in life, so he had come to terms with the fact that he’d be one of those who didn’t succeed when they made it to the end of the line. “First thing to learn about me, is to never expect anything good.” Of course, to keep the conversation light, he shot her a wink and smiled, despite it being one hundred percent true.
“Good to know.” He mused, a hint of excitement lighting up his eyes as she spoke. Meeting someone who was easy to talk to was refreshing. Especially considering that if the conversation went sour, he could just end the whole thing and walk away—unlike in prison. “Well, I wouldn’t have minded either way, but thank you for helpin’ a guy out just a bit. Want to make a decent impression here. But decent is all you get.” Again, he smiled, but this time just before turning to the bartender to order her, her drink and another glass of coke for him to sip on.
Brow raised at his statement, Mia got more intrigued over what he truly meant, if it was an honest statement that he was indeed, or if he was just flirting with her to make the whole conversation more interesting. Either way, it was working and now Mia wanted to know more. “Oh, is that so? Is this the moment where you go and just tell me that you are a very, very bad guy? Because if that is the case, you ain’t scaring me, no no.” And that was true. One thing Mia wasn’t quite all that good with, was learning when to back off from a guy, especially if he wasn’t all that good in the end. She always had a bad time picking up her hook ups for the night, more than once getting herself in trouble for doing so. She wasn’t just all that bright in the end.
“I’ll take decent....for now,” She smirked, sitting up straight on her chair, holding one of her hand for him. “I’m Mia,” she introduced herself, feeling like this was a very easy going kind of conversation that she didn’t need to pretend to be someone that she was not, after all, he was decent.

“Stop being a perv, John. She isn’t walking around with pasties and a thong, is she?” It had been safe to say that Jolie had frequented the joint often enough to know who the regulars were. But hey, it wasn’t her fault the joint had decent appetizers and a good happy hour. Turning back toward the opposing brunette once they had been left alone. “Believe it or not, he’s an innocent soul.”
“He, an innocent soul?” Mia snorted, shaking her head at the woman, looking over her shoulder towards the guy that was already bothering someone else. “He is a man. Men are never innocent.”
tanzierellis:
Tanzie watched, partly amused and partly annoyed, that this girl was now looking to her to keep one of the club’s regulars from trying to pay her for a dance. “Danny, just because they’re dressed like us, doesn’t mean they want to grind their ass against your semi all night,” Looking to the brunette, Tanzie sighed. “You really need to learn the art of the backhand.”
Looking down at her own choice of clothing, to the one similar to the woman next to her, Mia honestly didn’t understand what was the deal with the guy just assuming that, if a girl wanted to look nice for a night out, they were automatically labeled as someone that was interested on something. “Did he actually think that just because we are dressed to die for he thinks he can just rub himself all over us? Disgusting.” She pointed out. “Oh no no no, no violence at all. He is way too bigger than me and the last thing I wanted was to ruin my night by getting in a scene with someone that was clearly not worth it.”
theobarrett:
“Wouldn’t matter either way to me. Free both ways.” Theo pointed back at her, taking the beer from her with a smile. He took a long sip and nodded his head. “Always makes the pout go away. How you been, Mia?”
“Touché there.” Mia smirked, knowing Theo was right, either way he got the best of it all for free. “You are too predictable. I’m good, bored a bit. This party needs something more.” She sighed, taking a sip of her beer. “What about you, enjoying this.....extravaganza of sorts?”

emohara:
“Mmm, see Theo would probably suggest something like heading over to the roulette table, or I don’t know, slots or something stupid like that.” And that made sense, considering where they were. But again, Emily wasn’t going to risk losing any sort of money. And that was just too much of a gamble for her to be honest. “Why don’t we do something a little different? More of a drinking game? That counts as gambling in a way, right? You lose, you drink, you win… well, you still drink. Unless anyone has any better ideas?” — @theobarrett
“I mean roulette is kinda fun, I don’t know what you’re talking about.” Theo smirked and ran his hand through his fluffy hair. Turning to look at Emily at her suggestion, his brow lifted in curiosity. “A drinking game? With money or what?” He looked at Mia and shrugged. “Are you interested in this or should we stay here on the show floor?”
“What’s up with men and their gambling? You all that desperate to lose some money, Theo?” Mia teased, brow raised as she looked from him to Emily, trying to find a middle ground over this where the three of them would be satisfied in the end. “A drinking game where you drink either you lose or win? Interesting. What are the rules?” Mia curiously asked, rolling her eyes as Theo mentioned once more the money. “Are you this desperate to get money out of us. What is this, are you needing some hand in there?” Mia asked, patting his cheek lightly with her right hand. “If you want to make this more interesting, why not bet something that all of us will get take advantage in the end? Either you win or lose, you drink. But if you drink, something has to come out.” @emohara

“I’m only here because of the two of you, so one of you better be buying me some shots.”
"Bartender!” Mia yelled and signalled for the bartender, “Three shots of tequila please! No lime, that’s for pussies.”
“Stop being so damn grumpy, Hens. We are here to party!” Mia grinned, agreeing with Nora over the whole thing, instantly taking one of the shots from the bartender. “Toasts?” @henslcycooper

“I swear it wasn’t me, okay.” Mia complained to the old guy, turning to look at the person standing next to them. “Can you tell to this lovely sir, that I am not one of the girls? I just wan to have fun.”

“Someone better be buying me a fucking dance and a fucking drink. That’s all I’ve got to say.” Theo shouted over the music, while holding his already half gone drink glass in his hand. He was already well on his way to being sloshed, but he couldn’t think of a better way to spend his birthday.
“Why have someone buy you something when you can clearly have it for free?” Mia pointed out as she approached Theo, a beer in her hand as she handed it to him. “Here, now is the birthday boy less pouty than before?”
norayung:
“Alright, who wants a shot? First rounds on me!”
“Oh God, you totally stole my line here. But yes, of course I want shots.”
