Hi hello :3 so I had a thing that invaded my brain and then I'm using the idea in a roleplay thingy with a friend ( @micah-is-normal hi :3) funsies since I can't sit down and right full fics (tho I might actually lock in sometime trust)

So anyways, it's a Flower king (Ren and Scott) fantasy au arranged marriage thingy which I know has been done before but LISTENNN

Okay so with this I was thinking more of the empires design for Scott, making him an avian with the golden Antler crown of Rivendell and basically he's never even met Ren until the day of their wedding when he walks down the isle.

It's a whole thing blah blah blah BUT the thing that I'm obsessing over is a little thing I thought up that's a personal headcanon for avians.

Basically avians have a tradition where they wear a lot of chains and jewelry on their wings that their partner helps them take off after the wedding and helps them preen their wings since it's a big intimacy thing and is a little cute bonding thing for the newly weds :3 and because of the traditions, the jewelry and generally really hard for someone to take off on their own cause it's not made for that.

So in this content we have Ren who is a world hybrid and knows nothing of avian traditions and Scott who has been forced to wear all this jewelry with the expectation that Ren would help him with it after everything.

But Scott is stubborn and doesn't want to be in this situation. Instead of explaining things and asking for help, he tries to do things on his own (he's been allowed his own room cause Ren is sweet and knows that Scott doesn't want to be there) which doesn't work and if anything gets the chains tangled up more.

So something that is supposed to be a symbol of love is quite literally restricting him and making him uncomfortable. He doesn't sleep the entire night until he finally gives in and asks Ren for help, who of course does as asked and is super careful with it.

And that care that Ren has shown the short time Scott has known (and been married to) Ren is what starts getting Scott to warm up to all this and eventually fall for Ren.

Anyways I hope people enjoy my insane ramblings :3

Idk if I've talked about this on here yet, I might have but who caaaresss

I'm a firm believer that Scott uses pet names and those pet names tend to be flower related. It doesn't just have to be for his partners either, it could be for anyone. I've got a list going :3

Jimmy- Poppy (ofc)

Tango- Tigerlily/lily

Ren- Rosebud

Martyn- not sure about a flower one for this but I think the nickname Coral would be adorable just sayin

Also another headcanon I have that I know I've mentioned before is the idea that for Scott and Jimmy flower language just comes naturally, like any spoken language they just know it without thinking and often times this will end up in Scott or Jimmy being very picky with the flowers that they give people :3 this also means that while Scott and Jimmy are dating each other but not the others Jimmy can tell when Scott starts really getting crushes and flirting cause he sees the flowers that he starts giving to Tango and Martyn. The others are clueless ofc but I think Martyn starts catching on once he's been dating them for a while and points out the flower thing to Tango and Ren :3

Some of it I'm not entirely set on but one thing I was giggling about was the idea that Scott seems like the kind of person to be terrified of bugs and then he's actually really into Entomology and probably has a pet tarantula that he scares people with and it's named like princess or something

An idea for one of my many royal aus

Jimmy is the youngest of 4 kids, struggling to Make his parents happy.

Grian, the oldest, already heir to the throne. Everyone loves him and he’s the center of attention.

Pearl, the next in line. Next heir to the throne in case something happens to Grian. Talented fighter and very gorgeous so she catches the eye of everyone

Lizzie- like pearl, catches the eye of people. She’s also the first married which means more allies- meaning this helps the kingdom.

Jimmy- the youngest. The blind one. No one seems to care. He rarely leaves his room since he doesn’t bother to try. No one would care if he died, even his siblings. All he has is notebook and friend in the castle, Martyn. Martyn knows Jimmy is… doing stuff with other guys. Jimmy will kiss other guys as a coping thing since no one will care what happens to him.

Jimmy ends up meeting the Prince of Rivendell, who came to visit for an ally ship. Their parents want Scott to Marry Pearl, but the thing is Scott Gay and Pearls a lesbian. Jimmy practically is head over heels for Scott, but knows there isn’t a chance cause he has to marry Pearl. Turns out, the two(Pearl and Scott) know Jimmy likes Scott. They plan a whole wedding for Scott and Pearl but both give each other permission to date whoever as long as no one finds out.
