two dragons i just made out of the power of procrastination and also because a worldbuilding post took off and i know what the people want.

atk is a two-headed dragon and may or may not be a menace. ifra is 100% a menace. they’re both pretty powerful & old. i think they know eachother - they don’t meet much in person but they have neighboring territories & send eachother messengers a lot, mostly to insult eachother. 

as far as dragons go they’re in their primes - they’re old enough that they are very knowledgable and bighuge, but not bighuge enough for it to impair their abilities to be menaces. how they interact with the ‘main’ serpentverse cast i’m not sure, but i think ifra and worm-slayer may have some history…

Was so focused on the ridiculous gathering that I missed the lining fabric folding up on itself 😩

saw on youtube that you can use tape and cardboard for a quick corset mock-up so I thought id try it out on my stays pattern

didn’t use enough tape for it to survive but it worked well enough that I’m confident the fit will be correct

should probably do an actual fabric mock-up anyways but I’ll need… fabric for that

made a cover for the stand mixer and….. somehow I fucked up and it’s fucking enormous 😂

the box of clay said “do not use over a solid armature, clay shrinks as it dries” and I thought yeah ok that’s fair but maybe I’ll be able to patch the cracks and just keep doing that until it stops shrinking and it’s fine?

He was so caught up in the wonder of a new serger that he serged the end of the seam together when he should not have done

Forgot that the seam alllowance for this part of the pattern is 3/8 not 5/8 in

You can even see the dotted line I did not follow lol

7/18/21 making an apron but I forgot to leave a gap in the waistband stitching where the shoulder straps will go

Yesterday (6/16/21) I was working on turning some pants into capris with a little cuff baby on the bottom.

In the first picture I added seam allowance lines before I remembered I needed another two inches on the end for the tab overlap that will get buttonholes

I’m hand stitching because the table usually used for sewing is Otherwise Occupied but in the second picture I have somehow managed to tangle up my thread so much I had to cut it. I cannot remember this happening to me before but I’m sure it has and I’m sure it will again
