Now you cry hysterically at 3am on your bed, your pillow pressed to your tear filled face. It is there to wipe the tears away when no one else is, but it is also there to block out the breaths you try and grasp for, while you’re choking up on your tears. You try and deep breathe but you can’t because the thought of you not being important to anyone kills you. Your friend comes to you every day to talk about her problems, and vent about the family shit she is going through and all the friend troubles. You are more than happy to listen to everyone’s problems. That’s not the issue. It’s that you question to yourself, where is everyone when you’re the one on the verge of ending it all? You say you’re fine if someone asks, but if no one asks you will never ask for help or ask for someone to just listen. You want somebody to LISTEN, but still you tell everyone you are fine. Although you’re fucking close to giving up. It’s not because I don’t trust you. It’s because I am not sure how to bring up the fact that I just want to die. It’s like, how do you just tell someone “oh btw, I want to die, I thought you should just know.” Like no. I don’t know to put it into words. Like you just hope someone out there would just realize that you’re not okay. More than anything you just wish someone would look at you and be like “BULLSHIT, you’re not even close of being okay!” Like you would probably want to lie and say you’re all good, but I think most of us would anyway just break down immediately because you’ve bottled up things inside of you and I think we all need to let go at some point.

V. My best friend asked me what was wrong and I told her I had failed a math test. The truth is I was too scared to tell her I’m losing my mind over a boy. I’ve never lied to her before. VI. I saw you with her in the hallway. Your hands were intertwined and your lips were pressed against hers. You were facing me and our eyes locked and maybe I’m imagining it but I swear I saw a hint of regret in them. I ran the other way. VII. My moms worried because I haven’t left my room. VIII. There are tear stains on my pillow. There are blood stains on my favorite sweater. IX. When he asked me to see a movie with him I said I was busy, but really I can’t stand the idea of going out with someone else. He had lovely green eyes and it was my favorite movie. X. It’s been three months since we were together and I haven’t been able to have one dream without you in it. They are all nightmares. XI. I can’t breathe without you here. XII. I can’t breathe.
