I've seen some people saying that Max's character being extremely aggressive as a dark skinned man to his more light skinned lover, Daryl, is kinda odd but I don't know what are your thoughts about this

I mean personally I just write off my interpretations of their behaviour in the music video but I understand that there are connotations to this sort of thing and it's important to be aware of them. I'm white myself (and I understand that some people have objections to white people writing Maxryl) and because of that I don't feel that it's my place to be saying too much about it.

Again though, I hope none of my writing offends anybody and I do just go off the small amount that we see in the music video. I'm not actively writing Maxryl atm but if I start again and any poc people have thoughts about how I portray the characters then I encourage them to tell me.

Some so called "fans" who act like they know this man better than *ahem* a woman who was actually married to him (& fucked w/him years after the divorce), are weird as hell.

I swear some ppl have never been in an intense relationship. You absolutely will say awful shit to/about each other, esp when you are hurt. MJ & Lisa were MESSY.

Michael was a man. The most famous one on the planet. It could not have been easy to be married to him. That line in the movie Joe says abt "having all the money in the world surrounded by ppl who will say yes to everything" was purposeful. Because at the end of his life *gestures at all the yes men & hangers on* he was very much alone.

Let's use our brains. Two things can be true. He was deeply misunderstood, but also did not help himself....at all. Esp in later years.

The weirdest part abt this whole movie thing is ppl "discovering" shit in his life that has been argued abt since 1990 & telling older fans we are wrong. I love the guy, & he did have an aura around him, but he was a human being. Faults & all.

Anyway. I wish they had worked out. They were both gorgeous & made so much sense together. I think they'd still both be with us & a lot of his later in life issues would have never been issues. She wasn't afraid to tell ppl to F off abt him & he should have listened.
