Corgis are not lap dogs. They're energetic herders who work hard and will nip at your heels if you don't watch out! They're loyal and protective if you're in their herd, and also sweet, silly, intelligent, entertaining, playful and just about the most loveable creature there is.

This summed it all up for me.

Watched the finally last night and was distraught it wasn't a perfect Goodbye to our beloved characters. I can still literally feel the stages of grief playing out in my body.

It was never going to be 'perfect' or 'right', we all have different ideas of that and a passion for this crazy story that transcends logic at times.

And, it's an ending. Those will always hurt like crazy.

But today I watched the Extra "An Ineffable Goodbye" too, and realized it's just the imperfect end to a part of their story.

These characters and story have and will live on and change every time we read or watch or listen or write or draw or even just see something slick and black next to something fluffy and white!

So, in the meantime, we're gonna mourn and debate and yell and smile and whatever you feel like, but these idiot characters are going to live on.
