The Mystic Shoot

I recently produced a spec shoot with 3 other creatives and 2 models. The overall vision of the shoot was to create a series of images that possesed a vintage but mystical feel to them. The location was one of the main elements to create the mystical feel, so I chose a "secret forest" located not far from my place in Silverlake.

To make the models look beautiful, I contacted Jill at Exclusive Artist Management and Lauren at The Magnet Agency. Jill sent over Mateo to work his magic with the models hair and Lauren provided the amazing Roxy to do the make up. Look at these two go, you can see why their agents love them.

Tamira Wells was the fashion editor; her styling helped make the shoot cohesive, beautiful and mystical. We've worked together on a couple of shoots in the past and at this point she knows what I like! Most importantly, she's also willing to let me take test photos of her with props on her head.

Tamira worked her magic with Ford Models to get Devon on board and I contacted Cassandra Torres at LA Models to acquire Koreen.

I know that you've been waiting and yearning to see the inspiration and outcome, so I'll tease you no longer.

We'll be doing it again soon, in fact the next shoot is already in the planning stages. I'll be sure to document more of the "as it happens" elements for you on the next go round. See you soon!
