How do you see Funtime Freddy and Bon Bon?
In my Au, both Ft. Freddy[Fred] and Ft. Foxy[Rennard/Renn] have programmed in anger issues. These problems were far more extreme than initially intended, and William didn’t really want to scrap these animatronics.
Instead, he leaned into the fact that all the other funtimes had companions, and created two small Bonnie models. As well as helping to calm down their charges; Bon Bon served as a surrogate audience who would help with things like knock knock jokes and giggle along to Fred’s comedy routines; while Bonnet functioned as Renn’s magician’s assistant, helping in his magic acts.
The girls were also both equipped to handle the violent outbursts of their charges, Bon Bon had more internal cushioning to protect her delicate mechanisms and Bonnet had a thicker and more durable outer shell that could hold up to Renn’s claws and teeth. In fact, both of them had about the same amount of metal and time put into them as any of the full sized animatronics.
Bonnet worked perfectly, Renn simmered down to a more manageable state. But Fred’s issues were far more severe than Renn’s, even with Bon Bon he was still incredibly dangerous and needed close monitoring. Bon Bon also came to far more damage than Bonnet ever did, which led to a programming update being included, they were given the ability of being mini engineers, able to fix many of the animatronics in their pizzeria and some of older models. They fixed each other most often though.
Bon Bon and Fred are friends, she knows his outbursts are unavoidable and she deals with them as and when they come. Her relationship with Bonnet is rather sisterly, they understand each other well and work together to try and protect the fazbear staff from their charges, and even the other animatronics at times. As their calming effect functions on the funtimes as well as any animatronic built after them.
