I’m working on a 3D game right now following Brackeys and Sebastian Lague on youtube! Unfortunately, my poor little witch girl’s model has an error of some sort that won’t let me apply her texture map. So I guess I have to redo her all over again. Losing 6 hours of work, but at least I don’t have to redo her texture maps!
- Another render! This time I got a bit carried away. Made some cutlery, plates, and a cake. Perhaps a birthday party or afternoon ‘tea’ time.Â

A pitcher of lemonade! Quick little project I spent my sick day working on.
- The mug is almost done! I just have to work on the textures. I’m modeling it after a mug I got from Starbucks (fancy, I know) with roses on it! Once the textures are done I will be able to post it with the reference images.Â
- Working on another quick project. A hot mug of tea! This is just the base so far. Playing with AiSubstances.Â
More work in progress shots of my mermaid girl! Hoping to try using Substance Painter to finish her up. Then it’s on to rigging.Â
A work in progress of the shader for the mermaid! Having some Arnold issues, hopefully will be able to resolve them shortly.Â
I started playing around Scluptris! I plan on fixing this up a bit more.Â
More pics! This time, she’s got hair. Her hair will be carded, using transparent textures. There will be some more changes before I make my first pass at textures, but they’re minimal. Once textures are done I will work on the rig and weighting!Â
Some more works in progress of my mermaid rig! She’s got hands, and a head now! All that is left is her ears and hair. After that’s done, it will the process of UVmapping and rigging. Can’t wait!Â
Concept for one of the characters for a comic I am currently working on. From the final render of her looks, to colour palettes, to the finalized design and turn around. A couple of quick renders of the mermaid’s body after adding fins. The head and hands are next, followed by the hair and UV Unwrapping for texture painting.
- Here is a work in progress of the mermaid rig! the body is almost done. Fins are next, followed by her hands and head! Very excited to get her done.
A 3D rig I am planning on starting shortly! This will be featured in my new demo reel, alone with some new art and other projects I have planned. The new demo reel will also feature work I’ve been doing for a client as well!Â
I always manage to miss mermay! It’s only the first weekend of June, so it’s fine - right?Â
Working on rendering and painting again in Photoshop while doing contract work! My macbook has been protesting extended use of Maya and the fans have been running almost non-stop, so it might be time to consider getting a desktop computer!Â
