One last, quite-late artfight attack: Madrecita Solida, Tiefling barbarian and orphanage matron, for @shannonmayart. Her orphanage isn't in the best part of town, but no one would dare cross her kids. Such a cool character, and I had so much fun translating her design to the theme!

New Artfight attack! Lady Aurelia St. Jones, a half-orc gentlewoman thief, but cyberpunk! When she uses this spaceman's keycard to gain access to the rare ore exhibit, she'll leave a ticket to the Retrograde Belt Fest as an apology for getting him fired. And honestly, he's been looking for a push to go to culinary school, anyway.

Also, I just love the idea that you can use an umbrella in space.

I'll put a blade in your hands if it's the last thing I do."⁠ ⁠ I've been replaying Final Fantasy XIV in anticipation of the new expansion later this year, and it has me thinking about all the cool characters you meet along the way. So, expect a couple of portraits while I continue to fixate on this game...⁠

First art attack! This is @spacecreatorart’s Prince of Galaxies, which is suuuch a cool character design. Also I only realized about halfway through that there is no requirement to draw cyberpunk pictures on team cyberpunk, but I _like_ cyberpunk so we’re rolling with it anyway.

Sometimes you draw a piece that feels like leveling up your skills, and this was definitely one for me. I'm crediting the Sayonara Wild Hearts soundtrack, which I had on repeat while I worked on this. Relatedly, I am absolutely obsessed with this game's aesthetic/music/improving my high scores.

I like to have youtube on while I draw, and one of the things I watched while working on this was arleebean painting a self portrait where she described it as “portraying how you feel to *yourself*... not necessarily how you look in your mind’s eye, but when oyu look inside your own head, your own heart, what does that feel like?” and that felt like a very apt description
