A word from this week’s guest: Kimberly Santos
I believe that everyone should live his or her life to the fullest. Before you die wouldn’t it be satisfying to say that you had no regrets and that you were pleased with how you lived your life? Looking back, you want to believe that every second you had was used to maximum potential, and that you enjoyed your life. I sure hope those are the thoughts going through my mind when I get older. But now is the time for me to make those memories and to live in the moment.
“Enjoy yourself while you’re young” is something my parents often remind me to do and I surely take this suggestion with open arms. And now that I am a senior in high school it is evident to me that these are the times I will look back on with joy. I want to enjoy myself with my friends and family. After all, these are the memories I look forward to reminiscing about.
Without a doubt, I enjoy being outside so I find amusing hobbies that are outdoors. I like to go around the island, swim, read in the sun, and do many more things outdoors. When I look back on my life I will be pleased that I spent my time in the place I loved and doing what I loved most. If I am enjoying myself and staying safe and healthy while doing it, I think that is time well spent.
There are times when I think to myself, “Wow I have a boring life,” but then I start brainstorming how else I could spend my time. You can’t always spend your time wishing for something better, instead, make it better! Time is valuable and you should use it to its fullest capacity. There is always something you could be doing that will occupy your time and that you will enjoy. And that is why I believe it is important to live your life to the fullest.
Life is something that everyone should try at least once.

Senior
a close friend who is a college student: You are senior now! It's time to make lots of beautiful memories, go to the senior trip, and have a graduation ceremony.
me: I know. Time flies so fast. I'm looking forward to the senior trip and I want to take a picture with my graduation gown on.
--------a few months later (The Corona crisis has put the whole world in danger-------
School: Senior cannot go to the Korea (senior trip)
me: ......OMG The driving force of my life has disappeared.

It's an experience that you can't buy for money. Today, I am going to tell you about my experience in Saipan school for 4 years. First of all, Saipan school was too free. The school I went to in Korea couldn't even go to the bathroom during class, but Saipan school was free to go to the bathroom and talk freely with the teacher. Also, I did a lot of discussion activities here that I didn't do in Korea. Such figures are natural behavior here, but they were very strange and unfamiliar to me. Also, the class was not coercive and proceeded freely and comfortably. One of the most important things in Korea was that when they arrived at school, they would submit their cell phones to their teachers unconditionally and would not be able to receive them until 5 p.m., the time to finish school. But it was different here. I didn't have to pay for my cell phone and I was able to use a translator for international students like me. I thought the education here was more appropriate. To create a comfortable studying atmosphere for children in a non-forced and free environment. I thought children would like and enjoy school only if it was followed. When I was in Korea, I really didn't want to go to school, but after going to school in Saipan, I enjoyed going to school. Playing freely with friends, talking freely with teachers, and studying in a free atmosphere was unimaginable in the past, but now it's different. Now, I have a school life with great significance that I can do what I want to do as much as I want. Four years have already passed. I'm in 12th grade and I'm graduating soon. At the Saipan school MCS, where I attended and where I attended, it is a place filled with only my good memories.
