my photography focuses on the human body and the different ways of portraying it in new ways. my most recent work was made by using projections of faces onto faces. the inspiration for this project lies within the experiences i’ve gained in the past year by moving across the globe and meeting but more importantly really getting to know people and discovering the many layers to their personalities, and how often we only show a part of ourselves, concealing the rest. I am currently working on a continuation of this project where i project bodies onto bodies. both of these projects distort the body and face as well as questioning the importance of society and the masses on our personality as well as our emotions. my other works function mainly as a study of the body and are not as abstract, yet i try to depict the human form in new ways each time.
