"You Think Too Much"

Perhaps, even here, I am growing. When the days are long and I do not feel as strong and when the hours go by slower than they ever have before, and sun is shining and I am lost indoors, perhaps even here, I am growing...learning to be at peace in what does not make sense to me. Perhaps, even here I am growing. So I will inhale and exhale. It is well, it is well, everyday is a part of the story I will tell. Closed Book

I am a book that is mostly closed,

Though it was not so before.

No one seemed interested in what it holds.

So it was left widely open no more.

It is not completely sealed, however.

This book is not closed forever.

It is partially opened to a selected few.

They are allowed some contents to view.

Yet, opening this book has become harder with time.

Not because I do not trust others to look inside,

But because it has become a reflex to hide.

I hope that one day I can fully open myself to you,

Show my hidden universe and be true,

And no longer be a closed book.

You get a strange feeling when you’re about to leave a place. Like you’ll not only miss the people you love but you’ll miss the person you are now at this time and this place, because you’ll never be this way ever again.
