Maybe this is a stretch but Eva Stratt in Project Hail Mary is like God in the Bible and Ryland Grace is Jesus.

Eva Stratt gave the Earth the chance to survive and flourish because she sent the saving grace to space to figure out how to stop Astrophage. Ryland Grace is the light of the world similarly to how Jesus is described being the light of the world.

Eva Stratt sent Ryland Grace to space to die for humanity and for the good of the people of earth. Similarly to how God sent his only son to die for our sins.

Ryland Grace also is a teacher, he is teaching to his students similarly how to Jesus was a teacher and a preacher. What does he do when he gets to Erid he goes right back into teaching.

Imagine being one of Ryland Grace's students. You're in science class and you are being taught by your nerdy science who rides his bike to work every day and suddenly he is now the savior of the earth and meanwhile you remember him as your middle school science teacher who taught you by playing a recall catch game called lava

Has enough time passed that I can say that Evan Hansen is one of the worst characters ever. Truly fucking terrible. I think that the musical movie is slightly better. But he is truly terrible

Do you think Sanji ever had those customers that would come in and be like "Id like the smoked salmon with rice and a side salad. But I dont like fish" and Sanji has to be like "so then order rice and and actually salad" but then the customer is like "No I want what I ordered but I just dont like fish"

So being a cook for the strawhats at the end of the day is a million times better than being a waiter

Is it just me or is there a lot of people dying this month?

I believe that there is a certain feeling of turning in weekly to a show that was airing in the late 2000s-2010s that I will never get a years later.

House MD, I guess

House and Wilson are so perfect becauss the fact that they are what the other needs.

House acts awful and is very purposefully trying to push people away because he doesn't want to be vulnerable and hurt. He was abused and mistreated in his childhood and never got the proper healing he needed. Which worsens after his infarction.

Wilson also needs to be needed, he craves it. Thats why he is with House. He needs to be needed. Especially after the infarction with House, Wilson is needed more than ever. Thats why he cheats on all of his wife's. He wants proof he is wanted and desired and thats why any of his relationship would not last. That would also include Amber is she lived.

They are literally are both opposites and thats how their relationship lasted. Because they are both the only constants in each other's lives.

Its been a few days since I saw TADC and I have had time to think so here is what I think

Spoilers for episode 9

It was a good ending, not perfect or great, but good. I think i rated it 3 or 3 1/2 on letterboxd. I had so much fun watching in theaters with my best friend

However I think the discussions around it are right.

1) the difference in how the cast acted in 8 to 9. They go from being like "We need to stick together no matter what" to them not stick together or really checking up on Jax even though there was an emphasis on making sure he stayed

2) sidlining some of the characters. I understand Jax and Pomni are main characters, but the cast isn't that big. It could have been possible to get some of the others to have some more screen time

3) there are so many plot holes and things that arent being explained or weren't explained

4) Caine being forgiven pretty easily and quickly (they were trying to wrap up I know) but the ending was rushed it felt like.

5) Jax being implied/confirmed to be trans-fem and having her kill herself is hard topic to fully think since I understand both sides of the argument

6) some of the characters seemed to be OOC in the finale. This goes with 1
