hello!
here is where all of my uhhhhhhhhhh garageband files will go. Pretty much all of it is the fab fairy ballads but if you want me to learn another song from the Miitopia ost or a different ost I’ll try my best :)
here is my current additions to Ballad of The Fairies: Complete from the Miitopia ost
It is um very loud so please do not have your volume over half if listening with headphones!!! I am aware that there is likely too much in this file and that it should be made seperately to reduce muddiness or distortion of the sound but I already HAVE separate files of the two main categories in here (string and woodwind) and the complete is exclusively on this file and is meant to be the bulk of the sound. So thats why its at full volume all the way through.
If you saw the two files at the top that said something like notes below A0 that’s because GarageBand won’t let me go below that on string instruments and the string sustain thing in the keyboard options is mid as hell and it too does NOT expand beyond A0 so I had to compromise and use the grand piano which reaches beyond A0. So that’s why that thing and the octobass are taking turns.
and then what I do when I want to hear it with the vocals is I make a copy of this, merge that file, delete the copy that GarageBand makes of it, and just copy paste the merged file into the vocals plus instruments file.
All of this (minus the original complete/the instruments from the original complete that I edited slightly [ex., the bassoon from the original song does an Eb at bar 17 instead of following the main Ab chord] and the eldest fab fairy vocal part) is created by me and belongs to me. All parts minus the eldest fab fairy vocals and the one male part I made (I make my brother do that one cus well hes a guy) are sung by me. I am very proud of my work and would love any help with issues like loudness and chords that are out of place. That helps me grow as a musician <3
please don’t hesitate to suggest changes! The only thing I won’t change are chords that are lore related (ex., Amralai’s viola [plus all of her other instruments and Avery’s] does a minor chord at bar 29 instead of following the major chord. That was added for lore reasons and to directly contrast with the major chord).
