All I know is I want my own paycheck. I don’t want anyone else to pay for my survival. I don’t want to owe anyone anything.
Don’t use your energy to worry. Use your energy to believe.
Police officers explain how they’re encouraged to act in racist ways
These NYPD officers are the plaintiffs in class-action lawsuit alleging the department is violating a 2010 state ban on arrest quotas.
“We’re the predator. They’re the prey,” Pedro Serrano told NBC4 in New York. “The worst thing you can have is a police officer that needs an arrest for the month.”
He’s not the first to say this.
He won’t be the last
Study the past if you would define the future.
They still won’t respect you even when you are all those things but ok.
But if we have more black people in powerful positions then they can directly create a positive change and protect black people’s interests. It’s not about getting respect from anyone, it’s about ensuring we have our voices heard in powerful places like law enforcement, politics, financial institutions …

“A woman was standing calmly, her long dress the only thing moving in the breeze, as two police officers in full riot gear confronted her in the middle of a roadway to arrest her. She had no facial expression at all. She just stood there.” ~ Jonathan Bachman, photographer
I only saw that one still before… This progression is so much more powerful.
Iesha L. Evans
Ieshia Evans went to Baton Rouge to join the protests “because she wanted to look her son in the eyes to tell him she fought for his freedom and rights,” a friend named R. Alex Haynes wrote on Facebook. “And yes, she is everything you see in this photo and so much more,” he wrote.
I love her, so much
That is SO sweet! 😩😍😍
There is something about being aggressive when pursuing God’s will for your life and advancing His kingdom. If God’s will for your life would automatically happen, there would be no need to invest time into prayer for yourself and others. This may be a time for you to fast. Take it up a level and be aggressive spiritually and naturally. Success is planned, it is pursued and it is possessed.
I love seeing men gush about their relationships and the women they love. It’s time for the whole trope of men hating being married/ viewing relationships as things holding them back. Amen for men uplifting their women and their relationship. Amen for men getting choked up and ready eyes thinking about the one they love. Amen for men thinking of the woman they are with as their best friend.
This 😪😍
