God’s not dead (2014)

Have you ever felt weak because of your circumstances? Have you ever felt worthless because of your infirmities? Have you ever lost hope with all the persecution, failure, depression and distress? Have you ever thought there’s no way things could turn around. Have you ever told yourself ‘There’s no way God can use me because I am just me’.

My dear, you never know what God is capable of doing. Sometimes we focus too much on ourselves to only see how little we are that we forget to look up and see how big our God really is.

God doesn’t call the qualified, He qualifies the called. And if God has called you to a specific calling, He will equip you with the right persons, the right strength, the right personality, and supplications to glorify His name. He will guide you and lead you the unto the path of righteousness. He showers an abundance of grace because He loves you so much!

The next time you feel weak no matter what the reason is, remember what God said to Paul, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.”

And Paul said, “Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong”. -II Corinthians 12:9-10 NKJV

When you can’t help but focus on your weaknesses, remember how strong God is. Our strength comes from Him.

The difference between mercy and grace? Mercy gave the prodigal son a second chance. Grace gave him a feast.
