ac mirages assassinations are fun as hell although funny enough they bring me back more to the just pre-rpg era games like unity and syndicate rather than the early games, just in terms of the versatility of the missions (ac1/2/brotherhood could often still feel a little railroaded without bonus objectives)

i like that this game is playing around a bit with what valhalla was doing narratively by having the post-kill dialogue be sort of a sagey thing but i like mirages more subtle approach where its not entirely obvious that its kinda just loki using the dead guys voices because basim cant culturally parse him as anything other than a formless demon

which is why it blows all the more than this is juno and aita 2.0 and ubisoft arent gonna learn their lesson and grow a spine when it comes to ever committing to finishing a gd storyline in this franchise
