Yes!
Highkey been dying in school all year but Midna has been practicing her poses
Midna's favorite spot in her new home
I have no idea if posting via Snapchat will work but here is a little snap that proves Midna survived coming back to the west š
Midna and I made it comfortably back to the west coast this weekend! This was her best plane ride yet, and she did great in the car ride too! All that's left is to move into the new apartment ..
Snapchat Filters help remind Midna of her inner Queen
Nothing special, just Midna on her throne.
now thatās the kinda news i wanna hear
i made my cat listen to the audio clip in from the article + he loved it
I called my skittish kitty, Aislynn, into the bedroom and up onto the bed next to me, and I played the Cozmoās Air for her. No reaction. But sheās myĀ āsucklerā kitty, who does nursing paws and drools on stuff when she is happy. So I put on Rustyās Ballad instead. And she stopped moving, just staring at me like sheād found god. Then she closed her eyes. I played it again and she carefully laid down with her head near the speaker of my laptop. I paid for and downloaded the whole song immediately and halfway through playing the full song, my other cat came into the room and stared at the computer like she had also found god, and now they are both laying near me listening with their eyes slitted and their ears ticking.

Midnaās tent window on our camping trip this past weekend!
Little Midna took her first camping trip this past weekend, and it was quite the experience! I learned a lot, but I definitely think sheāll be going camping again. We only went drop camping this time, but maybe sometime Iāll be able to take her for a small backpacking trip.
Our tent had a perfect sized window for her! She loved looking out of it. I am not sure I picked the best day to bring her camping for the first time, as there was some thunder in the distance towards the beginning of our adventure and she spent most of the time in the tent after getting spooked by it. Midna managed to slip out of her harness twice, though she didnāt run away either time. The first time was directly after hearing the thunder and we caught her before she could have run (though I am inclined to believe she would have run into the tent), and the second time she slipped out was while she was in the tent by herself. I had decided to leave the tent door open to encourage her to come out and so clipped her leash to a part inside of the tent, where she quickly got tangled and was able to slip out. However, she only went under a blanket as opposed to running out. Needless to say, I think she may need a better harness; however, I did loosen it up after my mother hinted that she felt it was too tight, so that might have been a part of the issue. Sometime around 4 in the morning, Midna finally felt comfortable enough to try breaking out of the tent... however, I didnāt take her out until around 8am, but after that, everything was perfect! She couldnāt have been happier, though she definitely wanted to explore a bit more than she was being allowed. If you ever feel like bringing a cat camping, definitely consider the weather a bit more seriously than I did! I also had some big issues with her getting tangled in practically everything: nature, in the tent, outside the tent around the table, etc. Havenāt quite figured out a solution to that just yet...
If all goes according to plan, my lovely lady will partake on her first camping adventure tomorrow! Sheās comfortable on a leash and loves rolling in the dirt, so hereās hoping Iāll have a happy cat and great camp-nachos.
