So I’m upset but I hear they shopping it around. w the trash that on tv I think midnight a good show they don’t advertise it and what not like what u think. Also this blame Figi mess I’m piss at her but still she not the only one to blame Mumford was sleeping w P right after forgetting creek , joe was cheating and last figi like 30 P 1000 year old crazy witch. And lastly kai about the shit and said nothing . But what u think gonna happen
Oof okay I’m gonna tackle this is parts.
1. They for sure don’t advertise it enough. Especially in the circles where the would-be fans are, like people who watch Supernatural or Lucifer or things like that, where they already have an introduction to the supernatural, so it’s not as big of a leap for them to just watch MT. That being said, I don’t think it’s a very big-budget show, and I think a lot of their problem this season had to do with the fact that they waited so long to renew it. It was over a year without any new episodes, which gives people plenty of time to forget about it. Not to mention some of the cast had already signed on to other things, which changed the dynamic of the show.
2. I... don’t really know how to feel about Fiji right now, honestly. I love when shows explore the consequences of decisions, especially when said decisions are made for all the right reasons but are ultimately not good. So I really like the way they touched on that with her, and the loss of her soul, but without a resolution to her arc, there’s really not much else to say, y’know? We don’t know how she would’ve felt about everything she did if/when she got her soul back. The only thing I can compare this to is Supernatural, when we’ve seen a few people soulless on there, who ultimately acted like Fiji has. They have no soul, therefore no morality because there’s nothing in them to care. So in that way, everything she did makes sense.
3. I really really loved Patience’s storyline. (Aside from the gross incest that almost made me turn the show off) It was such a twist I didn’t see coming. I honestly thought that Kai was the bad guy the whole time, and everything in the show seemed to be pointing that way. I think that had a lot to do with Patience “passing” the intention spell from Fiji, so the audience basically ruled her out because we knew (or so we thought) that she had good intentions.
4. As far as Manfred/Patience is concerned, it’s fine with me. I hate that she cheated on Kai (though it makes sense in retrospect, since we know she was just using him for his powers) but as far as Manfred, he was well within his rights. Creek left, and not very nicely at that, so I don’t blame him at all for moving on.
5. Fuck the whole Joe/Chuy/Walker storyline. Literally the worst thing in the show. I’m still angry about it.
6. I get Kai not telling anyone. I mean, he thought Patience was the good witch and Delilah was the bad one, so he thought he’d be helping the world get the powers of a good witch back, y’know? And I really do think he loves her, despite the fact that she lied to him. (Obviously now I’m sure his feelings are a bit different and/or complicated ha).
7. I have also heard, and seen in a few different articles, that they’re shopping it around to other networks/streaming services. I believe Hulu owns the rights to it, so they’d have first dibbs. I’m not really sure if this is a show that’ll end up getting picked up or not. It could honestly go either way. It’s a niche show, and one that hasn’t had enough time to develop a fanbase, so there’s not as much pressure to pick it up as there was for something like Lucifer, y’know? We’ll just have to wait and see ;)
