Eddie finds himself stuck in a time loop and lives the same day again and again... Yes, that's not much details (because I don't want to spoil it too much) but I can promise you some angst with a happy ending !

He can’t say he has much experience with warlocks - the only interactions he’s had with them so far were either when someone came along to do maintenance on the Institute’s wards or when he was sent out to arrest someone who had broken the Accords - but -

Well.

Alec’s pretty sure 90% of what comes out of Magnus Bane’s mouth is pretentious, over-exaggerated bullshit.

It’s not that he doesn’t believe the warlock is powerful, or that the spell they’re asking him to perform is complicated and draining but there’s just something about the way he presents it that rings false, makes all the alarm bells in Alec’s head go off.

Or maybe it’s just the way Magnus keeps sneaking not-so-subtle glances at him when he thinks he made a particularly clever remark or finishes some grand tale, as if to see whether he managed to impress Alec. It reminds him of a peacock proudly strutting around and displaying its feathers and- well, it shouldn’t work for him, but it kind of does, which irritates Alec to no end. He tries to ignore it as best he can, rolls his eyes exaggeratedly in the hope that his grumpy demeanour will either deter Magnus or at least mask the way he flushes at his flirtations, but it turns out, when Magnus explains the ritual to them, that he has reached his limits.

“Okay, that’s bullshit!”

The way it bursts out of him clearly startles Clary, who doesn’t know his temper yet, but even Jace and Isabelle seem surprised. Magnus blinks at him, calm, as if he has decided to magnanimously indulge his childishness.

“Oh?” he asks. “Pray tell, what exactly are you so opposed to?”

“I’ve helped summon demons before,” Alec says, rolling his eyes. “There’s zero hand-holding involved.”

“Ah,” Magnus says, a sly smile tugging on the corner of his mouth. It’s very pink, and Alec ignores the way it makes his stomach clench with want. “But this is a Greater Demon. The connection needs to be stronger, more stable.”

“Do people usually let you get away with this?”

“Alec, don’t be rude,” Izzy admonishes. “We need his help, we can’t have you antagonise the High Warlock.”

Magnus waves her off. “It’s quite alright,” he says, grinning now. “Alexander is perfectly within his rights to have his doubts, even if they are, of course, unfounded.”

“You heard him,” Jace interrupts, annoyed. “He knows better than us, Alec. Just take your damn position on the pentagram.”

Alec sighs, and resigns himself to his fate. Unsurprisingly, Magnus takes the place to his left, and holds out his hand, snorting a little when he sees Alec hesitating to take it.

“You are right,” Magnus murmurs, leaning close, so no one else can hear. “People do usually let me get away with it, because they don’t know better. I overcharge them too, if they are too ….naive, to see it. Now,” he continues, his amusement palpable as he waves his hand with a flourish and winks at Alec, “let me hold a cute boy’s hand. I don’t think that’s too much to ask as payment?”

Alec smiles despite himself.

No, no!

To be as vague as possible -- it wasn’t a big spoiler relating to the status of the characters, and I wasn’t sad that I was spoiled. I was upset by what the spoiler was because it felt like a shitty (~problematic~) writer’s decision in the year 2019.

Hey awesome peoples! I'm looking for a story where Stiles got Heather pregnant. And she doesn't want the baby, Stiles steps up and says he wants the baby and heather or her parents come up with a stipulation that he needs to be out of state if he wants to keep the baby? The pack is shocked but supportive helping out in every way they can.
