Wtf is real feminism?

I just read a post that claims that ANY sex that involves cis heterosexuals is rape. I repeat ANY sex at all. Even when both individuals are consenting. If it involves cis heterosexuals, especially cis white males, it is rape.

This same user went on to call herself a "real feminist"

How exactly do you define real feminism?

In my opinion, real feminists come in all shapes and sizes.

Real feminists fight for equality and women's rights.

Real feminists accept the differences that exist among all people and want those people to have the right to be who they are.

Real feminists look at all women and see they have worth.

Real feminists understand that women get to choose the path their lives go on.

Real feminists know the difference between rape and consent.

I would call myself a real feminist, but according to this user, I can't be. Why? Because I'm married to a cis white heterosexual male.

These feminist high schoolers are using ‘The Scarlet Letter’ to protest dress codes

Students at Charleston County School of the Arts in North Charleston, South Carolina, have had enough. Too many girls have been sent home because of a strict dress code policy that they claim targets girls unfairly. Now, they’re doing something about it. Not just to protest the dress code — but also how it’s being enforced.

A couple things to point out. Feminism in itself isn’t a bad thing, but it’s been stigmatized. It didn’t need to be used here. Girls don’t need to be taught to be ashamed of our bodies, or that we’re “a distraction” to boys and male teachers old enough to be our fucking fathers. Girls and boys need to be taught RESPECT for our bodies all around, but that doesn’t mean 1″ shoulder straps and mid thigh shorts are “provocative” it just means you’re sexualizing unnecessarily. Besides, if we were supposedly made naked, why the FUCK does it matter if my clavicle is exposed? Choice, consent, care. Learn them! #freethenipple
