Hiii I’m new to the fandom, I have seen all the episodes but need to rewatch a couple more times. But when I first started the show I looked at Lestat and I saw he was complicated, and he’s pretty (yes everyone has a type, but he’s mine) and so I was like I WANT THAT ONE. Sam is the most adorable human bean and I adore him and he seems lovely. I come to discover PEOPLE HATE HIM! What? Why? MY MISTAKE FOR ASSUMING THAT THE LADY BRIDGERTON WOULD GET MORE THAN THREE SCENES IN A SHOW CALLED BRIDGERTON. SERIOUSLY PEOPLE WHAT ARE WE DOING!! That’s Anthony’s sweet angel baby princess, she should be in their home, not in the fucking country side while Anthony’s mother controls everything. It seems like a more interesting storyline would be the children having to take the carriage to visit their mother not just show up at their house and hope she’s there.

Seriously, I see so many clearly straight people claiming to be either gay or bi (or some made up sexuality to avoid admitting they’re straight) these days.... you can tell they’re straight when they’re clearly homophobic, get angry seeing happy healthy same sex couples and go on a rage when a lesbian says she only likes pussy and will never like dick. These days qu**r isn’t just a slur it’s also a word for straight or a bisexual who hates themself.

Like as much as I think those "3% of people are gay" estimates are low-balling it a bit those surveys that claim "over half" of gen z identifies as "queer" or "non-straight" are just ridiculous. The vast majority are just as straight the average person and they can't fucking stand it.

Most Gen Zers aren't gay and I say this as a Gen Zer. Lots of my classmates in highschool were "queer" but that just meant they dyed their hair, went by they/he/she pronouns, and didn't bathe enough. They were all in heterosexual relationships, were exclusively opposite sex attracted, and mostly gender conforming. They just wanted to pretend to be special. I can't tell you how many times I was told, as a bisexual girl, that they were just like me

See this is why I’ve struggled with my sexuality for so fucking long. I am a bisexual woman who has only ever dated a man (and by dated it was a situation ship that lasted 6 months. We didn’t even kiss) and I have never been in another relationship. So claiming to be bisexual or even queer is a struggle when I have never known anything else other than straight relationships. About a year and a half ago a girl went to my school and I was hopelessly obsessed with her. I waved at her in the hallways, my stomach fluttered if she complimented me and I went out of my way to try and spend time with her. What is that if not a crush. I felt the same way about her as I did with boys when I was a child.

But my worst fear is that I’m straight and this is only a passing feeling- which I know doesn’t make sense and I’ve been yelled at for it (BELIEVE ME IM AWARE) but I’ve never known anything else and when I see posts like these it makes me fear that my situation is not accepted in the queer community and I should just label myself as straight.
