hello everyone! long time no see! for those who are still following me and interacting with my posts, thank you! to those of you that are new: welcome!

I experienced something incredibly traumatic in 2017 and lost all motivation to make art. that coupled with tumblr’s nsfw ban + flagging most of my posts meant I sort of abandoned this blog! I’m sorry!

I’d like to make art again. I’ve created a Twitter account (Twitter.com/mielesmile) to start sharing old + new stuff. I hope you might consider following me on my journey there. I don’t think I’ll ever be back to consistently posting on this blog, so that’s the best place to find me for now.

thank you everyone who took time to write to me. i really appreciate it, and i will be okay someday.

i took a break from the internet and didn’t respond to a lot of really kind, wonderful people but please believe me that you’re words and offers of support really touched me.

i deleted my last post which included a link to my personal blog + an explanation of a series of terrible events that happened in my life b/c i have a personal blog for a reason and i don’t want to make people who are just here to see art and be happy uncomfortable. i also want to keep my personal blog lowkey, so if you want the url feel free to ask for it OFF ANON.

now i’m going to post a wip that i may or may not finish someday and hopefully will start feeling inspiration and motivation to draw again soon.
